This is a simple breathing space practice that you can use anytime,

Anywhere to regain calm,

Clarity and confidence.

To begin,

Become physically still,

Wherever you are,

Either laying or sitting.

Choose a posture where you'll be comfortable as possible and gently close your eyes.

Bring all your awareness to whatever is going on for you right now.

Allow your body to sink into the point of contact between you and the floor or the chair or the bed or cushion.

What sensations are you feeling there right now?

If you notice any tension or resistance towards painful or unpleasant sensations,

Gently turn your attention towards them and try to accept the best you can.

If you begin to tense around the breath,

Then let it go a bit more with each out-breath,

Softening into gravity.

Notice any thoughts as they arise and pass through the mind.

See if you can allow them to come and go without identifying with their content.

Observe as if there were clouds in the sky.

Notice any feelings and emotions as they arise.

Can you let them come and go?

Include everything within your awareness with a kindling perspective.

Now focus your awareness on the experience of your breath as it flows deeply within your body.

Drop your awareness inside the breath and feel the different sensations in the front,

Back and sides of your torso.

Can you feel your awareness within the flow and movement of the breath?

Use the breath to anchor your awareness in the present moment,

Breathing in the body,

Noticing each inhale and exhale.

Noticing again each inhale and exhale.

Each time you notice your mind has wandered,

Gently bring your focus back to the deep breath within your body.

Now gently expand your awareness to include the whole body.

Feel the weight and shape of your body as it sits,

Stands or lays.

If you got any pain or discomfort,

Make sure your awareness stays open.

Cultivate acceptance or acknowledgement for all your experience.

Use the breath to anchor your awareness in the present moment,

Breathing in the body,

Noticing each inhale and exhale.

Noticing again,

Inhaling and exhaling.

Now take a deep breath in and a long breath out.

Bring your awareness back to the weight of your body,

Noticing the ground or the surface in support you.

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,

Allowing a soft sense of movement to return.

When you feel ready,

Slowly open your eyes and carry this feeling of clarity,

Calm and confidence with you as you continue into the rest of your day.
