A Moving Meditation To Slow Down!

In this meditation, I invite you to slow down, listen inward, and be really present to what is alive within you. The first part (15 minutes) can be done sitting or lying and then there will be a non-guided time (18 minutes) with music when you are invited to just be with what is, to explore micro-movements, and slowing down while moving. A powerful way to feel more and discover that you can slow down while moving!

Hello to you welcome.

I'm Sophie Aubert and I'm very happy to guide you in this meditation So the theme I chose today is slowing down Slowing down in this crazy world slowing down to come back to our center It's so easy to get distracted so many news so many information coming from all over the place and so many different ideas and social networks We are in undid we are It can be very overwhelming very fast so the invitation this meditation is To come back to your center by slowing down So there will be a first part of the meditation Well,

I will just guide you to really come back to you yourself Come back into a different pace Come back to your center That's gonna be guided in the first part then we'll set an intention and then I will put some music and There will be a few tracks that will be quite slow and it will be an invitation to Just listen and see how this music maybe makes you move or Or maybe the music is just there in the background and you don't feel like moving You feel like staying sitting down And possibly,

You know,

You will start sitting and then maybe you will want to move Just trust that your body knows what to do.

You will know how to move if move is coming but it might be just It could be that you feel like lying down Could be lying down in the front lying down on your back lying down on your side Maybe just lying down and moving on the floor Maybe standing up and moving maybe Staying sitting down on moving.

So anything is Okay,

Welcome.

Just trust your body and just welcome yourself Just as you are with whatever is present and alive within you So when you're ready I want you to find a comfortable place sitting or lying Take your time to find the perfect or the the right position for you in this moment I don't know if there is a perfect but just the right Posture for you in this moment And then feel free to move,

Even during the guided meditation Suddenly you feel like you want to lie or you want to sit or you want to change position Trust your body allow yourself To move if needed So once you found that position for yourself,

I invite you to close your eyes And then you can just Get the sense of where you arrive in this meditation.

How do you feel?

What is your inner state?

Return your attention within and just get a sense of what's alive Is there tension stress Or is there hyperactivity calm peace tranquility Or something in between What is your state of the moment And maybe it is that you feel different feelings state coexisting within that's possible too That's possible too Just acknowledge whatever is there and just open yourself to it just be with it Welcome yourself as you are in this moment Learn to love yourself as you are in each moment so often we judge ourselves We shouldn't be like this or we should be like this or we should be like this Or we should be like this it's not okay to feel this or I should be feeling like this So all these should Injunction I don't know if you said that This kind of obligation we put onto ourselves Just allow yourself to be as you are And if judgment comes just welcome that as well you can just observe the judging part And if it helps you can start to connect to your breathing It's always a good way to come back here now Come back to your core to your center So whenever you feel overwhelmed or stressed or stressed or Tired overwhelmed Overwhelmed Just connect back to your breath Head and flow of the breath I invite you to just connect to this ebb and flow don't try to do anything just connect Sense,

Feel the ebb and flow of your breath like a wave coming and going And just to observe how this moves through your body And just to observe how this moves throughout your body inside your body within Notice which part of your body are moving with your body And the more you get out of the way the more you let yourself be Breezed you just become curious of this natural spontaneous movement within yourself Which is there whether you are aware of it or not It's continuous you don't have to think to breathe you are breathing always But you can just bring the awareness your presence to it This in itself helps you to slow down to come back to this natural inner rhythm of life And when we're stressed our breath becomes faster more shallow So by just bringing awareness back to this inner movement Without trying to breathe any particular way just get out of the way and just observe This inner movement Be curious of this pulsation this undulation It's a wave like movement Just observe how it just slowly calms you down just by being here present to your breathing Everything's settled And if there are if there is still a lot of activity in your mind A lot of thoughts and it's difficult to take presence to your breath your body Just keep coming back to it just observe oh I've gone into my thoughts and going on and on and on And just notice that welcome yourself with that don't judge yourself just say oh It went away wasn't there anymore okay just choosing this moment to come back here now Feeling what's happening within my belly What's happening within my pelvis What's happening within my chest What's happening to my shoulders What's happening to my sacrum coccyx What's happening to my sacrum coccyx And you can just imagine that you are sitting in the core of yourself in your center As if you are the the big you and you're just sitting in your center just occupying that space It's like a you Surrounded by the big you You're just sitting at your core You're letting yourself be pleased Biding the wave Imagine yourself like a little boat on the sea,

Ebbing and flowing with the wave And this boat is like the like the the you the small you the you Your core and then the ocean being just who you are this Essence Your essence Life And I invite you to set an intention With your own words something that could be a phrase like this I am Present and alive in each moment I slow down and come back to my center Whenever I feel overwhelmed or stressed Or distracted And it's easy I can do it with ease grace and on effort Now I'm gonna put some music on and I just invite you to be with what is Just explore some micro movement Slowing down Just observing how it feels to move slowly This presence and consciousness Be aware of each small movement micro movement in your body But to trust that if there is no movement physical movement that possibly you can Just be connected to inner small movements Your body is always moving even when you are still So possibly this is the movement you will connect to But just trust body will know how to move and when to move and if it wants to move or not Just let yourself be moved be squeezed When the music is finished I invite you to take a moment to center yourself again Before you go back to your day to day Just enjoy So So So So So So So So So So So So So So So So So So Boy So So Oh,
