Take whatever time you need here to find a comfortable seat,
Settling in,
Becoming present to how your body is feeling.
And when you're ready,
Closing down your eyes if you're comfortable to do so,
Or softening your gaze at a point in front of you,
Deepening your breath.
You may want to add a count of four to your inhale and a count of six for your exhale,
Allowing your mind and your body to settle and to come into presence,
Letting go of all the effort required to bring you to this point in your day.
And noticing anything that may be here for you today,
Right now,
If there's any tension in the body,
Breathing into those places now with intention,
Allowing them to soften.
With each breath relaxing even more deeply into your seat.
With each exhale,
Taking two fingers or the palm of your hand to the center of your chest and allowing that touch to signal to your nervous system that you are safe to be here.
Noticing the expansion of your breath under your hand as your chest moves out with every inhale and contracts with every exhale.
Turning your attention now to feelings of gratitude,
Appreciation,
Joy,
Freedom,
Bliss.
You may like to bring to mind a specific event,
A person or a memory that evoke these feelings for you strongly now.
Allow yourself a few moments here to really zero in on those feelings that specific event,
Person or memory that intensifies those feelings for you now.
And as you allow that deepening,
Those feelings continue to build in intensity,
Moving out through all the layers of your energetic body,
Giving yourself over fully to these feelings.
Now we're going to move into a few moments of silence to really enjoy and luxuriate in these feelings as they continue to build.
If you notice your mind wandering,
Just invite it back to these feelings,
This memory,
Person or event that evoke them so strongly for you.
Allow yourself this time and space to really deepen into these beautiful feelings.
Taking a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your belly as much as you can here,
Exhaling with an audible sigh when you're ready.
One more deep breath in through the nose and exhale with an audible sigh,
Letting it go,
Letting it go,
Letting it go.
Returning your hand to your lap,
Bringing some gentle movement back into your body now,
Letting your breath return to its own natural rhythm.
You are welcome to stay here as long as feels comfortable,
Opening your eyes when you're ready to.
