This meditation was recorded LIVE during a group meditation to start the New Year with presence and intention, connecting deep within your core, and to your higher self. This guided meditation is an energy based meditation with the intention to create a vertical flow of energy and to bring the higher frequency of your soul being into your body.

Transcript

Take a deep breath.

Whenever you're ready,

You can close your eyes.

Take another deep breath.

And simply take this moment to transition.

To transition into closing your eyes,

Taking a moment wherever you're sitting on,

If you're sitting on a chair,

On a cushion,

On your bed,

On the floor,

Whatever you are sitting on,

Just take a moment to let yourself become present wherever you are with your eyes closed.

And you start the meditation by taking three deep and conscious breaths.

Breathing in and out deeply.

You can breathe in through your nose.

Exhale through your mouth or your nose.

And do that in your own time,

Just a few more times.

And if at any point during the meditation you get distracted,

You can always come back to focusing on your breathing.

One thing that you can do in the beginning of your meditation is to check in and tune into your physical body for a moment and check where you might be holding tension.

And immediately you might find a place,

You know,

It might be your hips,

Your neck,

Your jaw,

Your chest,

Just you know.

And with that awareness and your breath,

You choose to relax that area.

You choose to relax that area as much as you can.

A few areas that are often tense without you maybe even noticing is your jaw,

The muscles around your eyes,

Sometimes your hands,

Your belly,

Your feet,

And definitely your shoulders.

Just breathe into that area,

Breathe through the areas that you would like to relax and where you would like to let go of tension.

And if you like,

As it's the beginning of this new year,

You can set an intention,

You can set an intention for this moment,

For this meditation,

But also for the whole year.

There's something that is important to you that you want to focus on,

That you want to grow into or that you want to let go.

So in your own way,

You can do that internally right now.

And then you let it go.

You just let the intention rise to the universe.

You let it go without any attachment on how that might look like or when it will happen.

Just let it flow away.

And take a moment to focus on your base,

On the bottom center of your body,

The base chakra,

The energy center at the very bottom.

Just breathe through that area.

Relax that area,

Open it up energetically so that you can rest in that relaxation,

In the groundedness,

Relaxing and opening up that area and imagining that that center is also connecting you with the center of earth,

Like roots,

Solid in the ground.

Here you are in this moment in time.

Here you are sitting with all these other beings that made it to this moment.

Here you are as part of this lifetime's experience on this planet earth.

Here you are and I invite you for a moment to honor and acknowledge yourself for everything you've done,

For everything you have accomplished and for everything you endured to get to this moment in time.

Take a deep breath and I invite you to celebrate yourself and to honor who you are in this very moment.

And with that intention in mind,

Use your breath and your awareness.

You guide your energy from the bottom of your body,

From the base,

Breathing it up,

Up to your heart,

To the center on your chest,

To your heart chakra.

Breathe energy up,

Up to your heart and then you let the energy flow from your heart down through the core,

Down to the base again.

Breathing in and up,

Up to your heart,

Center in the middle of your chest,

Breathing it down again through the core.

Breathing up and down at your own pace,

In your own rhythm.

Breathing in all the way up to the heart and breathing out and letting the energy pour down again.

Creating a vertical flow of energy between your base and your heart,

Up and down.

Energizing and vitalizing the core,

The center of your being,

Moving the energy up and down.

And with your next deep inhale,

You bring all this energy up to your heart.

Breathe it up,

You suck the energy up,

Up to your chest,

To the center and you keep your awareness,

Your energy and your breath in the center of your chest,

Your heart.

And you breathe in and out through your heart chakra.

Energizing and vitalizing the core,

Energizing and vitalizing and igniting your heart,

Creating expansion and space beyond your physical body.

Opening your heart front to the side and imagine also that you're opening up the back of that center,

The back of your heart,

Creating space all around it.

Opening and expanding,

Connecting to the deeper essence of love.

Love for yourself,

Love for other beings and love for existence itself.

If you like,

You can take a moment to connect to the hearts of those that are sitting here with you in this very moment.

Connected and sharing,

Being.

You can bring this beautiful essence of your heart,

You breathe it up,

Up to your throat.

Let the energy rise up to your throat,

The center of creation and communication.

Let the essence of love reach up to your throat and expand and practice in daily life to express the essence of your heart through your words,

Through your creation in daily life.

The words that you say to yourself and the words that you say to others.

And then let that energy rise higher from your throat up to your third eye,

The center of your forehead,

In the middle of your forehead.

You bring your awareness and your breath to that area,

Breathing in and out through your third eye,

The center of intuition,

Vision,

And higher perspective.

And while you keep your base relaxed,

The muscles on your face relaxed and your eyes closed,

Turn your inner eye upwards as if you would focus on the upper part of your third eye,

The upper part of your forehead.

You keep the back of your neck long,

The muscles on your face relaxed,

And you turn your inner eye upwards,

Connecting to the higher frequency of that area,

Letting the energy rise and expand,

Connecting to the higher part of your third eye helps you to keep an overview and to see things from a higher perspective.

This energy wants to move and keep rising up naturally and has been doing that already throughout the meditation.

You can imagine that you let the energy rise up to the top of your head.

And from the top of your head,

There's a bridge reaching up above your physical body,

About 20 centimeters above your head,

What we call the eighth chakra,

The higher self or the seat of the soul,

About one foot above your head.

Let the energy rise up there,

Connecting to that higher version of your being.

Maybe you see colors or you want to imagine a ball of light.

Maybe you only have your own unique experience or you let it be a fantasy.

Just connect to that higher part of your being above your head,

Soul being.

You are so much more than a physical body.

You are so much more than your thoughts and emotions.

You are a being of light.

You are part of a vast consciousness that the mind will never comprehend.

You are the soul.

You are the light divine.

And let yourself reach out as high as you can,

As high as you want,

Connecting with the source of your being,

Connecting to your unique sound,

Connecting to your unique being.

And then let this energy,

This light pour down from way above like a warm shower,

Like a warm rain,

Pour down.

Into your higher self.

From your higher self,

Let that energy pour down through the bridge,

Into the crown on top of your head.

That energy and light pour down into your head,

Into your brain.

Imagine filling up every brain cell with the essence of your soul,

Igniting a light in your head.

Let it pour down into your third eye.

Slowly and gradually,

You let all those particles of love and energy and light pour into your physical body,

Into your throat,

Into your heart,

Filling up your shoulders,

Your chest,

Your back,

And letting it pour down through the core,

Into your sternum,

Into your belly,

All the way down through your arms,

Into your base,

Into your hips,

Down your legs,

Down to your feet,

And into the ground.

Imagine filling up every cell,

Every particle of your physical,

Emotional,

And mental body with this light,

With this energy,

With this frequency,

Shining bright from within,

Radiating from within,

Creating from within.

And I invite you to ponder or ask a wonder throughout the day,

What is it that you want to create?

What is it that wants to unfold within you?

And let the energy pour fully down,

Even though a part of you always stays up high,

You consciously bring the energy back down and you consciously prepare yourself to transition fully into this physical experience,

To transition from the world of energy to the world of physical matter.

Bringing down the energy into the ground,

And visualize the roots deeply connected,

Rounded,

Solid,

Stable in this world,

Centered deep within and connected high above.

You can use your breath to take two or three deep breaths to fully come back into your body.

Maybe you wanna move your hands or feet or touch certain parts of your body or do a stretch,

Whatever it takes for you.

To fully come back into this body right here,

Right now.

You can do this in your own timing and your own way.

Whenever you're ready,

You can open your eyes.

When you open your eyes and you connect to the outside world again and whatever you have going on today,

It's an invitation to also stay connected with whatever has unfolded for you today inside.
