Every experience in life offers a chance to begin again.

This meditation is an invitation to return what sustains you to what is possible.

The eight happiness essentials I write about and teach,

Each opens a different door to living with clarity and purpose,

Bringing your mind,

Body,

And spirit into harmony.

Hello,

My name is Maria Baltazzi,

Author of the award-winning book,

Take a Shot at Happiness,

How to Write,

Direct,

And Produce the Life You Want.

Take a comfortable seat or lie down and let your body settle,

Knowing this time is for you.

Gently close your eyes if that feels right or lower your gaze and take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale slowly out your mouth and let your breath soften.

Let your breath soften your jaw,

Your shoulders,

Your hands.

With each inhale,

Allow your body to feel supported.

With each exhale,

Release the tension of trying to control outcomes.

You are safe to pause.

You are safe to begin again.

Feel the floor beneath your feet,

The chair beneath your body,

The weight of gravity holding you steady.

This is your reminder about peace,

Peace that calms,

That begins by returning to the present moment.

And there is nothing to earn here,

Nothing to prove,

Only this breath.

Take another slow breath in and as you exhale,

Imagine settling deeper into the support beneath you.

And let this moment remind you that life is always holding you,

Even when it is uncertain.

And bring your awareness to the center of your chest and picture a soft golden light glowing there,

The same light you connect with in your faith.

And this light represents trust,

The belief that something larger than fear is guiding you.

And breathe into that light.

Feel it expand with every inhale.

Let it warm your heart and steady your mind.

If self-doubt arises,

Simply remind yourself faith is the courage to take one small step without knowing the whole path.

You do not need to know every turn ahead.

You only need to trust the step that is in front of you.

Now picture yourself walking toward an open field.

Behind you are the stories,

Regrets,

And worries you have carried,

Some belonging to others,

Some your own.

Take a moment to look back,

Not with blame or with shame.

You look back with understanding and whisper to yourself,

I forgive what I could not change.

I release what I no longer need to carry.

You may even imagine placing those burdens into the earth,

Knowing it can transform them into growth.

And just know that detachment,

That letting go is not giving up,

It is creating room for peace to enter.

Now turn back toward the open field ahead and notice how much lighter your body feels now.

And as you stand in this field,

Breathe in the air of possibility.

The horizon is wide,

Painted in light.

You feel a soft wind brush against your skin,

The presence of love,

Reminding you that you are connected,

That you are worthy of care and compassion.

And think of one person who has shown you kindness,

No matter how small.

Let that memory fill you with gratitude,

Not just for them.

It's gratitude for your capacity to feel appreciation.

Each act of love and gratitude offers an open door to abundance.

The more you notice what is already good,

The more life reveals what is possible.

Next,

Bring your attention to your breath,

And steady,

And balanced,

And alive.

That's your breath.

This is health in action,

The alignment of mind,

Body,

And spirit.

Notice the rhythm of your breathing.

It knows what to do.

You do not have to force it.

And let your body rest in this flow,

Knowing that well-being flows from consistency,

Not perfection.

And every calm breath strengthens your body.

Every kind thought nourishes your mind.

Every moment of awareness heals your spirit.

You are whole,

Even as you continue to grow.

Now imagine yourself standing in that open field again.

The morning light has brightened,

Touching everything it meets.

There is a path forming ahead,

Not drawn by force.

It is revealed by movement.

You take one slow,

Deliberate step forward.

The ground feels steady beneath you.

You notice a sense of relief,

The weight of hesitation lifting.

As you keep walking,

You begin to realize the path is made by your willingness to move.

Each step forward is an act of creation.

You are no longer waiting for life to happen.

You are participating in it.

You are making it happen.

And silently repeat after me,

I am open to what is unfolding.

I trust the timing of my growth.

I am learning to believe in myself.

I take one step forward today.

I live in a generous universe.

I am ready to receive what is meant for me.

Breathe in these words as truths,

Not promises for later.

They are realities for what you are choosing now.

Bring your focus back to the light in your chest.

It is steady and alive,

The same light that carried you through faith,

Love,

Health,

Gratitude,

Forgiveness,

Peace,

And detachment.

This light is a constant within you,

The part that does not fade when circumstances shift.

Take one final slow breath in.

Exhale gently,

Releasing anything that still resists moving forward.

And when you are ready,

Open your eyes,

Look around,

Look at the space you are in.

You are in a field of possibility.

It is real,

Not imagined.

And every moment from here forward is an open invitation to begin again and again and again.

And so let it be.

This is Maria Baltazzi.

Thank you for being here.
