What's good,

Legend?

Guru Deepak Chopra says that manifestation is the bridge between imagination and reality.

Now I'm a big believer that manifestation has to be coupled with action,

But I firmly believe that anything you want to bring about into the physical begins in the mental plane.

You have a massive power laying dormant right inside of you.

With this power lies the ability to literally transform our thoughts into things.

Today's meditation will be about reminding you of the epic power that lies right between your ears and right inside of your heart.

We'll begin with a breathing technique to relax the body.

We'll develop our focus by concentrating on each individual breath.

Then we'll shift into a compassion meditation to generate some feelings of love and kindness.

And then we're going to land this plane by allowing these powerful feelings to cascade into a manifestation.

Let's start by getting into a comfortable meditation position.

Try to be relaxed,

Yet alert and ready to explore your inner world.

We'll begin with three collective breaths together.

Deep inhale through the nose,

Fill up.

And let it out with an exaggerated sigh out your mouth.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Inhale.

One last breath.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Now we're going to go into one of my go-to breathing techniques to induce calm fast.

It's called the physiological sigh.

It's basically a double inhale followed by a long exhale.

It's my go-to when life is moving a bit too fast for me and I need to take back the reins and slow things down a bit.

It goes like this.

Take a deep inhale through the nose,

Fill up.

At the top sip in a little bit more air.

And then open your mouth to give a long exhale like this.

Let's give it a go.

You're crushing it.

Let's go a couple more rounds.

Last breath here.

Now I want you to release the technique and find the nice natural rhythm of your breath.

You're not speeding your breath up nor slowing it down.

You're just surfing the waves of what it is.

Now I want you to focus on each individual breath.

Giving focus to the inhale,

The exhale and the small pauses in between.

You'll breathe in.

And as you exhale,

You'll silently count to yourself one.

You'll inhale again.

And on the next inhale,

You'll count two.

You'll continue in this fashion until you get up to the number ten.

And then you'll start again.

Remember,

This is not a race or a competition.

We are just counting as a way to shop for ourselves.

As a way to shop for each breath fully.

To be focused and dialed in here on the present moment.

You might find your mind wandering.

You might find yourself being lost in thought,

Drifting off.

That's okay.

Just acknowledge that you've drifted off and start again at one.

Now I want you to release this technique and just begin to breathe naturally again.

Without worrying about counting on the inhale and exhale.

Now I want you to use this moment to begin to visualize.

I want you to think of a person in your life who has given you unconditional love.

Maybe it's a parent,

A friend,

A partner,

A child,

A pet.

I got my dog Bronx.

He's the man.

I love and I think about him often.

Maybe this love wasn't perfect or without the pain or headaches.

But someone loved you selflessly once or for a period of time.

Or think of someone,

Maybe you showed this same unconditional love too.

Sit with the feeling of warmth and contentment that unconditional love brings while you slowly breathe in and out.

Feel the power of unconditional love and how you feel accepted and cared for even with all of your imperfections and flaws.

Or think about how you accepted or cared deeply for someone else.

This feeling of love is powerful.

Powerful.

I want you to take a moment to send this feeling to someone you love.

Take this moment to send that love to someone who is neutral.

This could be your male person,

The person who takes your order at the coffee shop.

Maybe someone you pass regularly in your day to day commute.

Now take a moment to send this love to someone who may be a little bit more difficult.

Maybe someone who you aren't seeing eye to eye with right now.

Or just generally may be a little bit harder to show compassion to.

Send this love anyway.

Take this moment to send this warm feeling out to everyone.

In your home,

In your neighborhood,

In your state,

In your country,

And in the world.

Now I want you to take this same energy and let's channel it and focus it into a goal that you are trying to accomplish.

While in meditation,

Picture your eyes being open with this goal you have,

Having been just accomplished.

Look down and see.

What are you wearing?

What do you see in your immediate environment?

Activate the senses one by one.

What do you hear?

What do you smell?

What do you taste?

What do you feel internally,

In your heart,

Externally,

In the environment around you?

I want you to stay with this goal having just been accomplished.

Seeing as much detail as possible.

Perhaps images that started out as fuzzy may be coming into a clearer focus right now.

Also,

Feel into your heart.

What does it feel to have had this goal accomplished?

Who's in your immediate environment to celebrate with you?

How does it feel having pushed through the fear,

The discomfort,

And the self-doubt to get to this very moment right now?

How does it feel to have believed in yourself?

Now,

How has everything changed?

If no one else has told you yet today,

I'm very proud of you,

My friend.

If you picture it and you work towards it,

It isn't a matter of if you will accomplish it.

It's a matter of when.

When.

Let's come back to the space that we're in and close out this meditation with one large breath together.

Deep inhale.

Open your mouth,

Sigh it out.

Research shows that our expectations,

Positive or negative,

Tend to be confirmed.

This is what is known as a self-fulfilling prophecy.

So,

If we expect to bring our idea to life or reach our goal,

We're more likely to do so.

So dust yourself off and go get to work,

You legend.

I'm sending you so much love.

I hope you'll come back and meditate with me tomorrow.
