The aim of this meditation is to connect you to your sacred pause,
The power that you have in that moment between the trigger and the response.
Wherever you are standing or seated,
Elongate the spine,
The back of the neck,
All the way to the crown of your head.
Soften the shoulders.
Feel the back of the tongue softly resting to the roof of the mouth.
The corners of your eyes,
Smiling upwards from the inside.
Bring together now the right hand inside the left,
Thumbs lightly touching,
Bringing together wisdom and compassion of your being.
And now,
Become aware of your breathing,
The inhalation and the exhalation through the nose.
Deep breaths in through the nose.
Complete breaths out through the nose.
And the pause at the end of the breath out.
Feel that space.
Inhale again slowly through the nose into the rib cage and abdomen.
And breathe out completely from the abdomen and the rib cage.
And now,
Settle quietly into that pause at the end of your exhale.
Recognise your being,
Your essence in this sacred pause.
Connect to your higher self,
The inner wisdom of your heart-mind.
In this sacred pause,
Remember to connect to love,
The essence of who you are.
And to choose to connect to love,
To choose to heal and quieten the energy within you.
To quieten and heal the energy around you.
And from this higher wisdom,
From love,
Choose your space that's sacred to heal and accept between the trigger and the response.
Or choose to come from a place of love in your reaction.
To encourage healing and love in the other.
Remembering the sacred pause.
Remembering who you are.
Remembering we are one consciousness.
