Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths and allow your body to relax.
Feel a wave of relaxation flowing from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet.
Become aware of your breathing and allow the gentle in and out of your breath to take you
to a deeper and a quieter space.
Focus on your breath as you breathe in and breathe out.
If there are thoughts running in your head,
Just allow them to come and pass.
Now become aware of a place in your body that needs your attention.
Perhaps it feels dense or painful or uncomfortable.
Let your attention go to that part of your body.
What is the emotion being held there?
Now imagine that this part of your body has a voice and it can speak to you.
Silently ask it,
What is the discomfort all about?
And listen patiently for the answer.
Allow your body to speak to you.
Then ask your body,
What can I do to release the discomfort?
What is it that your body needs?
And once again,
Listen patiently for the answer.
Now if you can reach that place easily,
Place your hand on it.
Imagine that you are breathing into the infinite well of love in your heart and then breathing
that love down your arm,
Into your hand and into the part of your body that needs it.
Continue sending love to that part of your body.
Our bodies are such wonderful feedback devices.
They tell us everything that we need to know,
Only if we listen.
Now gently bring your awareness back to the room.
And whenever you feel ready,
Open your eyes.
