Shedeka Marriott (she/they), mama, licensed master social worker, meditation and yoga teacher and yoga therapist in training. She share the teachings that have made a deep impact on her life as well as her journey as a parent, specifically on the path to awakening in and through relationships. Her mindfulness practice was born out of curiosity to delve deeper into the practice as a healing modality for managing anxiety and migraine symptoms. She has learned that healing is more than just stopping a symptom or condition; it is learning to nurture ease and well-being within the body, heart and mind. She is passionate about making the tools of yoga and meditation inclusive and accessible as possible.
