This 10 minute breathwork audio is perfect if you’re feeling any kind of anger, sadness, fear, or any other emotion and you’re ready to let it go. The way to release emotions is by moving through them. This breathwork session is for allowing your emotions to flow through you and allowing them to be released. How to Use This Breathwork Audio: *Find somewhere quiet & comfortable that you won't be disturbed for 10 minutes. *You can practice this lying down, seated in a chair, or on a cushion.

Welcome to this breathwork for emotional release.

This is perfect if you're feeling any kind of anger or sadness or fear or grief or anything else,

And you're ready to let it go.

The way to release emotions is by moving through them.

So this breathwork session will be allowing for your emotions to flow through you to allow them to be released.

So this may bring up any kind of emotional expression,

And it is perfectly welcome in this space,

Whether that's crying or yelling into a pillow or simply just really feeling into what's coming up.

The breath we'll be using today,

And I invite you to try it along with me here,

Is a three-part breath,

Breathing once into the belly,

Once into the chest,

And then letting it all go through the mouth.

It's going to sound like this.

Trying that out for yourself,

Seeing how that feels.

There's three ways you can move and release these emotions,

One through your breath,

Activating with the inhale,

Releasing with your exhale,

One through sound,

Through toning,

Through yelling,

Through groaning or moaning,

And then through movement,

Which could happen through shaking or rocking or swaying.

Your body is going to guide you to how it's wanting to move this energy,

And my invitation to you is to just allow that to happen.

So setting up now,

Lying down on your bed or on the floor,

Maybe grabbing a blanket to keep you warm,

Anything that you need to feel safe.

Safety is crucial in these practices to allow the ego to drop,

To allow for fear to fall away and allow us to really dive into our healing.

When you're ready,

Starting to connect in with your breath,

Just noticing where you're feeling it,

Where you're holding on,

Bringing awareness to any sensations in your body,

Noticing any areas of tightness,

Of tension.

No need to change anything at this time,

Just noticing and allowing your awareness to fall on these areas.

And then when you're ready,

We'll move into that breath pattern,

Breathing into the belly,

Into the chest,

And out through the mouth.

Continuing in this fashion,

Breathing in a little bit deeper with each breath into your lower belly,

Breathing into your upper chest,

And then letting it all go through the mouth.

Receiving into the belly,

Breathing into the chest,

And then letting it all go through the mouth.

We'll just be here for a few minutes,

So you're safe to drop down your guard,

Safe to allow anything that's arising to be expressed.

Continually breathing into the belly,

Into the chest,

And out through the mouth.

Breathing in a circular fashion,

Meaning we're not pausing at the bottom or the top,

We're really connecting these breaths,

Creating a flow amongst them.

That's it.

And I'll welcome you into using sound or movement now to release anything that's coming up.

It could be simply through a toning,

Through an ah sound,

Or allowing for any kind of sound to come out of your body now.

And then welcoming in any kind of movement that would feel most nourishing to you.

You could try shaking out your arms,

Shaking out your legs,

Rocking your hips from side to side,

Or swaying,

Any kind of movement that would help you move through these emotions.

That's it.

Now,

Allowing for this exhale to be a full emptying and release so that when you take a deep breath,

You are able to take a full inhale,

Filling your whole belly,

Whole chest,

And out through the mouth.

You are safe to feel all that is coming up.

You are safe to let go.

You are safe to be exactly as you are.

Taking a few more deep breaths.

And in a few moments,

I'll guide you into a top hold.

This is just filling up your whole capacity,

Taking in as much air as you can,

And holding your breath at the top.

Taking in a deep breath now.

Holding at the top,

Noticing any sensations in your body,

Noticing how it feels to be full of expansion in this moment.

Nothing that you have enough within you,

And when you're ready to breathe again,

Letting go of that air,

Allowing an emotional or a sound expression to finalize this practice,

Letting go with the sigh or anything that feels most authentic to you.

Letting go of that three-part breath,

Connecting back in with your natural breath.

Just taking some deeply nourishing breaths through the nose as you connect in to the surface beneath you.

Thumbing in some gentle movement,

Maybe giving yourself a big hug,

Having gratitude for the work that you've done.

Taking as much time as you need to come back into your regular life.
