So good morning.
I'm Rev Skip and this is the beautiful beach in Bali that I'm getting a chance to be a part of in my retreat.
I'm getting a chance to arise with the sun.
There's been a beautiful sunset.
It's been a beautiful experience of seeing the morning awaken.
It's been wonderful watching the dogs around us and the energy around us and people running and their sounds.
And in this meditation,
I simply want you to bring in the sounds and the energy and the vibration of life itself.
So if you choose to,
You can close your eyes or you can continue to watch whatever this video brings to you,
This ability for you to just be.
And if you choose to,
I'm going to do something called a half namaskar or half sun salutation.
Sun salutation was created to bring homage and to pay homage to the sun,
The wind,
The moon,
The earth.
It is a sun salute that we're awakening with the sunrise.
And as the sun is on me right now,
After a beautiful sunrise,
I get to say thank you in gratitude.
Gratitude that I'm alive and awake.
So I'm invite you just to plant your feet onto the floor.
You can be in your living room.
You can be on the beach.
You can be in the earth,
Wherever you are.
It's all good.
Find the space where you can just simply do a simple movement to awaken your day.
Let your hands just drop down.
Palms are open.
Let the shoulders just drop down and bring all the energy you hear behind me or around me.
Bring it into your sun salutation as you salute the morning.
So I invite you to take your palms nice and open,
Plant your feet securely into the earth,
Feel connected.
Now I invite you to simply breathe the hands up high to the sky.
We're going to inhale,
Lift the hands all the way up high to the sky.
And then as you exhale,
We're going to come through with praying hands.
Let's do that a couple more times.
Inhale,
Sweep the palms,
Sweep the hands out.
And as you exhale,
Bring the hands to your heart.
Let's do that again one more time.
Big inhale.
And exhale,
Hands to your heart.
And listen for the change.
This time we're going to breathe the hands up to the sky.
And as we come through with praying hands,
We're going to forward fold with a straight back down towards the floor.
And just allow everything to hang here for a moment.
We're linked into the spine.
Inhale through the nostrils.
Exhale,
Forward fold.
And with the flat back,
You're just going to rise up to the sky,
Lift the hands all the way up,
And bring the hands back to the center.
Let's do that again.
Very simple.
Breathe up.
Exhale,
Forward fold.
Inhale,
We lengthen,
Head towards me.
Exhale,
Forward fold.
Inhale,
Stand up nice and tall,
Reach for the sun,
And bring it to your heart.
Two more rounds and we're done.
Inhale,
Breathe up.
Exhale,
Forward fold.
Inhale,
We lengthen.
Exhale,
We forward fold.
Inhale,
We stand up nice and tall,
Reach for the sky.
And exhale,
Hands to the heart.
One more time.
Gently breathe up.
Let everything go.
Just forward fold.
Let it all go through the back to the legs.
Inhale,
We lengthen,
We stretch our back and our hamstrings.
Exhale,
Forward fold.
Let's stand up nice and tall,
Reach high to the sky,
And hands to the heart.
Let's just take a moment,
Release your hands,
Close your eyes if you choose to.
And what are you grateful for today?
What is bringing you life?
What are you so excited to experience today?
I'm grateful for you.
I'm grateful that I'm here in Bali.
I'm grateful to do the work that I get to do,
And I'm grateful that you get to do what you're called to do as well.
