Welcome to this shamanic meditation to the element of fire within.

Make sure that for the duration of this recording you are not disturbed,

Creating a quiet space for yourself.

So get yourself comfortable either sitting or laying down and enjoy the journey.

Our intention is to connect to your inner fire for guidance.

Fire mirrors back to you the vibrance of your spirit,

Your passions,

That which moves you.

There is much we can learn from observing this fire,

Your flame.

So I am going to invite you to really use your imagination and open up all your senses.

Take a couple of deep cleansing breaths in and out.

Place your hand on your heart.

Feel your heartbeat.

Allow the connection,

That rhythm,

To soothe you,

To still your mind as you breathe in.

Let's start off with offering your gratitude to the spirit of place where you are,

The landscape you are in,

All the seen and unseen energies that support and protect you.

Take a couple of deep cleansing breaths in and out,

Whilst greeting the spirit of air as it moves through you to support you.

Air being the first element to greet you when you are born.

Follow your breath and imagine that with each breath you take,

You are creating space in your being.

Feel the breath move through you with ease and grace.

Open up all your senses as we step into this beautiful,

Sacred place in nature.

Imagine that you are in a lush forest.

The vegetation is vibrant and you hear nature's song.

You may hear the birds,

Maybe even a stream nearby.

Feel the warmth of the sun touching your face.

As you breathe in,

It's beautiful here.

And as you walk in this landscape,

You become even more aware of your senses.

Be curious to explore.

What does the soil feel like beneath your feet?

Is the earth firm?

Do you feel grass or sand beneath you?

What do you see around you?

How do you feel?

Take in the fragrances as you breathe in.

The colors are vibrant.

Absorb the beauty that surrounds you.

And as you continue to explore,

You see a path leading down.

Follow this path.

On the left,

You see the great majestic oak.

This oak is the guardian of this landscape.

Holding sacred space for you to explore and to learn from the wisdom of the fire.

You are now entering a clearing where there is a place for you to sit down.

Surrounded by ancient trees.

And as you look up,

You see the shimmering of light through the leaves.

Like thousands of diamonds raining down on you.

Now take a seat and get comfortable.

Take some deep breaths in and place your hand on your heart once again.

Remembering the intention of this journey.

Which is to ask for guidance.

And to be shown how you can tend to your fire.

And what your fire needs to thrive.

So in front of you,

There is a fire burning.

Grounded in the earth.

You are the guardian of this sacred fire.

To keep this fire vibrant,

You are asked to tend to it.

To nurture it.

This takes commitment,

Perseverance,

Love.

Remember that the fire mirrors your spirit.

Your life force.

Your passion.

That which moves you.

So sit here and gaze into your fire.

Observe it without judgment.

What does your fire look like?

What does your fire need?

To be consistent.

To be vibrant.

Can you tend to your fire?

What are you asked?

Observe your fire.

Is it a wildfire?

If so,

Ask yourself.

If you can maintain that fire.

Or whether you might need to undertake action.

So that it doesn't spread too wide.

Or that you don't get burnt out.

Are you asked to place some stones around the fire.

To make sure you create healthy boundaries.

The aim is to create a fire that burns steadily.

If your fire is small or you merely see embers.

Then the fire is showing you the potential in all things.

So what can you feed it consistently?

So that the embers ignite and the sparks turn into flames.

What is it that you can do to nourish your passion?

What brings joy to your heart?

Can you commit to your personal life force and feed your flame?

If your fire is beautiful and consistent.

Then sit in that space and take in the warmth.

Be still.

Enjoy your fire.

You may wish to hum,

Sing,

Dance.

Or merely sit in this presence.

The fire reflects back to you.

Your spirit.

And know that the fire holds the wisdom of the ages.

Of the ancestors.

And know that the fire also holds the wisdom of the ancestors.

Your deep,

Heal,

Wise ancestors.

That have sat around the fires.

Told stories.

Sang and danced.

And consulted this wise energy.

Feel held by the knowledge that you are here.

Because they survived whatever challenges.

Difficulties.

They had to move through.

So the fire shows you your ability.

Your strength to survive.

To thrive.

You are given the opportunity to tend to your fire more consciously.

To create more flow.

And to truly give voice to your dreams.

Your desires.

Your path.

You may wish to ask the fire to bless you.

To cleanse you with its smoke.

Or to share a personal symbol of empowerment.

So thank the fire for the wisdom shared.

And look at it one last time.

It is now time to make your way back.

On to the path.

And journey back home.

Marvel at the beauty that surrounds you in this forest.

As you leave this sacred place.

Absorb this beauty.

On the right hand side we see the great oak.

And thank him for holding sacred space for us.

Know that you can come back to connect with your inner fire anytime you want.

For now this journey has come to an end.

Making your way back fully to the here and the now.

So take in some deep cleansing breaths.

As we thank the elements of water,

Air and earth that move through us.

And especially the fire today for all the wisdoms and teachings offered.

Now give yourself a squeeze and thank yourself and your body.

For all that is well and it is done.
