So welcome back after your first week of meditation.

Were you able to do it every day?

If not,

Don't beat yourself up.

It's a new discipline that we're learning.

But we're going to keep it moving.

We're going to move on.

So here's meditation 2 that we're going to share.

You know our problem is the ego.

When the ego attaches to a particular thought,

Then it is sort of sealed in our psyche.

So we're going to learn and practice 3 simple English mantras to get the ego to surrender and simultaneously we're going to be retraining the mind.

So for the first mantra,

Cross your hands and bring them over your heart chakra.

The center of your chest,

Not your physical heart.

The heart chakra.

And close your eyes.

And just for a couple of minutes,

We're going to chant this mantra together.

I give myself permission to be happy.

Inhale between.

I give myself permission to be happy.

Inhale.

I give myself permission to be happy.

Let your mind surrender to what you're saying.

I give myself permission to be happy.

I give myself permission to be happy.

I give myself permission to be happy.

I give myself permission to be happy.

I give myself permission to be happy.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Now the key to that meditation is that either you verbally hear the words,

Really merge with what you're saying,

Or you see them inscribed on your forehead.

If you're visual,

You see them inscribed on your forehead.

If you're auditory,

You really hear them and merge with the words.

Now for the second mantra.

Keep your hands at your heart center.

Inhale.

Say,

I am carefree.

I am free.

I am free to be myself.

I am carefree.

I am free.

I am free to be myself.

Inhale.

I am carefree.

I am free.

I am free to be myself.

Inhale.

I am carefree.

I am free.

I am free to be myself.

Inhale.

I am carefree.

I am free.

I am free to be myself.

Inhale deep.

Hold the breath.

Exhale.

Just sit quietly for a few seconds and we're going to do one more.

And then you can choose which you wish to practice for the entire week.

And then you can raise your hands back over your heart center if you've relaxed them.

And say,

I feel.

I feel myself.

I am.

I am.

Inhale.

I feel.

I feel myself.

I am.

Inhale.

I feel.

I feel myself.

I am.

I am.

Inhale.

I feel.

I feel myself.

I am.

I am.

Inhale.

Hold the breath.

Inhale deep.

Exhale.

So what is the beauty of that mantra?

You have to get into your feelings.

Happiness is a feeling.

You have to begin to feel.

You have to begin to feel yourself.

But when you do,

I am,

I am,

You are beyond all definition.

All limitation.

You are part of the beyond.

You can go into the beyond.

You can do that which is beyond your limitations.

Let's go for it.

So you got a whole week to practice daily.

First thing you do in the morning to practice consciously.

Freeing yourself.

Being yourself.

And getting that joy into your life.

And letting the depression go.

See you next week.
