Imagine your life as a palace with countless open doors — each one leading to a part of you, a possibility, a path. Over time, many of those doors quietly close, shaped by life experiences, beliefs, and expectations. This gentle reflection invites you to reconnect with the forgotten rooms of your inner palace and remember: change is possible, and more is available than you think.

You know,

Sometimes I like to believe that when we are born,

We are born,

Or each one of us is born into a beautiful,

Beautiful palace.

This is a very unique palace for each one of us.

It's just our own palace.

Nobody else owns a palace just like that.

And the palace represents,

Let's say,

Our life.

It's our life palace.

And it has millions,

Trillions,

Billions,

An endless number of rooms.

And the doors to all of these rooms are wide open.

And you can imagine that each room,

Or there's a room for each aspect of our life.

Let's say there's one room for being a house owner,

One room for being happily married,

Another room for maybe being a digital nomad or whatnot.

There's really an endless number of rooms.

So it means there's,

Yeah,

Anything is possible.

And it's just up to us to explore all these rooms,

Or maybe not all the rooms.

It would be maybe too much also.

But to explore the rooms and figure out which room we feel most comfortable with and where we would like to stay.

Yeah,

So that's when we are born.

But then naturally,

Of course,

The course of life,

We grow older.

And as we grow older,

We make all kinds of experiences.

Some of them,

Many,

Hopefully,

Are joyful and empowering us.

But then,

Of course,

We also make experiences that are maybe more painful,

Maybe emotionally or even physically painful.

There are emotions we cannot face in the moment.

So we push them away and our body stores all of that.

Maybe we even have traumatic experiences.

And also,

Of course,

We grow up in a family,

In a society.

So there are certain rules,

Norms,

Expectations,

Stresses.

So all of that forms us.

All of that helps us to develop a certain belief system,

Patterns,

And all of that.

And so there's quite a lot of external stuff going on around us that shapes us,

That shapes us into a certain personality and that contributes to some of our doors,

Some of the doors in our palace just close.

Because maybe we grow up in a society where it's not the standard to to own a house,

Let's say,

To have a simple example.

So then we close the door and we just don't think about it anymore.

And in our world,

This option doesn't exist anymore.

So through our life,

While we become a certain personality and develop all these beliefs and patterns and make experiences,

We end up living in just a few of these rooms,

Of this endless number of rooms.

And that's perfectly fine if these are exactly the rooms where you feel most comfortable and alive.

If that's exactly the rooms you want,

Then there's no need to change anything.

But many of us,

We start feeling a bit maybe limited or like life feels a bit too tight and we have this certain maybe feeling that there could be something more.

But of course,

We don't really know what it is because we don't know about all the other rooms anymore.

Or maybe we imagine them,

But we don't know how to access them,

How to open the doors,

Because in our world where we live,

They don't exist.

And so we start looking for something else.

We start experimenting,

We try new things,

We keep looking for different solutions and approaches,

But we keep looking in the same places because all we know are these,

Let's say,

Three rooms.

So we keep looking for different solutions in the same rooms.

And it feels like the hamster on the wheel,

Running around.

And maybe some things change a bit,

But not profoundly.

Let's say yeah,

Maybe you have a new partner and you're happy in the beginning,

But then slowly,

Slowly,

You see similar patterns than in a previous relationship.

So this,

I know what I mean.

And it's not that we're doing it wrong,

It's just that we don't have access to a completely different experience.

It's because we hold all these old stories,

Patterns,

Stresses from the past,

And that makes it really,

Really challenging to change something from the bottom up.

So what we need to do is we need to,

Let's say,

Find the key,

Find the key to open some of the other doors again.

And so the key is in the body,

And it's often,

Or it's mainly modalities or techniques that help,

Or that work with the body,

That help to process emotions,

That help to,

Yeah,

Work from the bottom up.

So from the inside out,

That help us to transform our beliefs,

Release stress,

Like really deeply,

Not just like the superficial stress,

But really to regulate our nervous system.

And there's,

Of course,

Tons of modalities,

Which is great.

Yeah,

There's like a palace of modalities.

So that's our job to find what works for us.

And for me personally,

It has changed over the years,

But for the past few years,

One modality that I'm using for myself also mainly is EFT tapping,

Because for me,

That's a modality that helps me to,

Yeah,

Let's say,

Be more brave,

Be more courageous,

Because it helps me resolve anxieties,

Worries,

And to stretch myself a bit out of my comfort zone.

And at the same time,

It helps me to work with memories of the past,

Where maybe I still hold,

Yeah,

Unprocessed emotions or stresses,

And slowly,

Slowly change that,

So that I'm more free to explore my own personal rooms or my unique palace.

Okay,

I hope that was helpful,

And I wish you a beautiful day.

Namaste.

See you soon.

Thank you - I enjoyed the metaphor of the palace with rooms, and how we can get stuck and what we can do to get unstuck x
