So we begin and end in awareness and in a way we don't go anywhere.
We don't go anywhere.
We're just already,
Already being the keyword,
You're already this vast awareness.
It's so utterly simple,
So utterly obvious.
The mind will always miss it.
It can't be understood really.
There's just this awareness here,
Listening to my voice,
And unbelievably vast,
Soft and spacious awareness.
We're sinking back into that awareness.
Letting the awareness just be,
Letting the awareness lead.
You don't have to do this meditation.
There's no you there to do it.
You are that awareness and it is already here.
That awareness holds everything.
It is quiet and spacious.
Everything emerges from that spacious awareness.
Everything moves inside of it.
There isn't anything that isn't part and parcel of that awareness.
And that deeply includes the body.
So let's just bring this awareness to caress the body,
To come into the body.
Let's begin by just feeling the warmth of the chair or the bed or the floor,
Feeling that contact.
Just being aware of the body being here,
Operating itself,
Fully rejuvenating its own cells and breathing its own breath and pumping its own blood.
And for you to relinquish control of this body,
This for now,
To give it up.
So that your body sink into the chair or the bed.
Let gravity have you.
Let your hips and your pelvis sink and just be.
Let your lower back sink into the chair,
Soften.
Feel that tailbone just bringing awareness there.
Mind can't go.
But you can feel your tailbone and you can feel it open.
You can feel it just be.
Feeling the pubic bone,
Feeling the hip joints,
Feeling deep inside the pelvis.
Letting all those organs above the pelvis sink down.
Let the pelvis hold the pelvis,
Hold the organs.
Let gravity have you,
Let gravity keep you down here on earth.
You don't have to pull up.
It's okay to be here.
It's okay to be inside your pelvis.
Awareness aware of the feeling of groundedness in the pelvis of sinking into that seat.
And the sounds of this lovely quality of pointing out sensation.
Sounds were just made of energy anyway.
That vibration can be felt.
It can point out that you're here,
That there's a body here,
That there's a liveness here.
So as we feel the quality of gravity and groundedness in the pelvis and now coming into the legs,
The upper legs,
Just feeling the inside of the upper legs,
Feeling the contact on the chair as well.
Feeling the warmth of the legs,
Feeling the vibration of the legs.
Letting the sound point out the aliveness.
Letting gravity pull the legs down,
This rootedness through the legs,
Feeling deeply inside the upper legs,
Deeply inside the bones,
Inside the knees now.
Letting the knees be fully felt.
See if you can feel the subtle quality of the music inside your own knees.
There's so much to be aware of.
And again,
Awareness is already aware of it,
It's somewhat holding it all.
It's already watching,
It's already experiencing it all.
There's so much space in awareness,
There's even room for thought.
It doesn't have to go away,
It won't go away.
But there's so much room in this awareness,
It's so vast,
It's endless.
And there is this juicy quality of your own being,
Your own body,
Much more captivating than those thoughts that are stale and untrue.
This is real,
This is your being,
It's alive,
Your knees are alive,
Your legs are alive.
Feel the vibration in your lower legs.
Feel that rootedness coming from the pelvis down through the legs.
This pull to earth,
This groundedness and rootedness,
This belongingness of your own being.
You're connected to the forest of all of life.
And you are this unique energetic tree rooted already to this earth.
Feeling through the ankles now,
That lovely feeling of being rooted,
That downward movement through the ankles into the feet,
Those vibrating feet,
Those alive feet.
And that rootedness moving through the bottoms of the feet,
Vast trees,
Vast energetic information flowing through your feet,
Vibrating with the sound.
That rootedness through your feet goes deep inside the earth and wide inside the soil,
Inside the rocks.
It couldn't be more connected.
There was never a separation,
There was never a cutoff.
And this downward movement through the pelvis,
Through the legs,
Through the feet,
Down,
Down,
Down,
Down,
Down into pools of water,
Pools of heat,
Deep in the earth,
Made of the same stuff,
The same energy,
The same chemistry,
The same space.
As you feel into the pelvis,
The legs,
The skin of the legs,
The bones of the legs,
Down into those shin bones and those ankles and through those feet,
Notice,
Feel,
Be aware of the feeling of spaciousness,
Of energy and aliveness,
Of vibration and of a deep rootedness like a humongous tree,
Those glorious old redwoods that vibrate and are so strong and deeply connected in the earth,
That's you.
You don't have to know that,
You can't know it mentally,
But you can know it from awareness.
You can feel it,
You can sense it.
It is a truth of the oneness of you,
The connectedness of you,
Vibrating through those legs,
Feeling the song,
Feeling the sound,
Aware,
Aware that your legs are made of space,
Feet are made of space and vibration and the ground and the soil and the rocks made of space and vibration.
Beautiful and let's come on up to the belly,
The lower belly,
Feeling that connectedness into the pelvis,
No separation there either.
There's not a cut off from the bottom half to the upper half.
There's just different qualities and in this midsection is this vast swirling and beautiful,
Powerful belly,
This lower belly.
Just right above the pelvis and feeling into that mid back.
Just being aware,
Awareness pouring through awareness,
Diving into the corners.
Just bringing awareness is such a healing.
It is the end all be all.
Just aware of all this here,
All this richness,
All this sensation in your belly area.
And maybe in that belly area,
That soft belly,
Maybe there's pain or deep grip going all the way near the spine.
No problem.
Very welcome.
Let it just be touched with awareness.
Nothing more than that.
Let awareness touch that wound that painful spot.
Awareness has a light touch,
Kind touch.
The mind is not the mind is an agenda.
The agenda of fear which is to go away from pain.
And that's fine.
There's respect for that movement away.
But then we never really get to heal and find out for ourselves as awareness.
What is it to move toward?
What is it to just be aware of what's in my belly without a name?
So just let sensation be sensation,
Vibration and bringing awareness to dive into those spots that mind would have you escape from.
But if just in this moment,
It's all allowed to be here as respected as revered as welcomed as absolutely anything.
We don't have a bias here.
We welcome how our belly feels.
And letting that belly that back of the belly,
The mid back sides of the belly,
All the organs,
The front part of the belly above the belly button and below it.
Letting it be massaged by the sound massaged by awareness with no agenda but to be in touch,
To be aware.
Whatever is here,
Gets to be here.
Mind will have opinion about all of it.
Just for now.
Don't believe the hype.
Beautiful.
And if we just come on up to that solar plexus area,
Same thing.
There's a grip,
There's pain there most likely.
So what?
Let it be.
It just is looking for that acceptance that awareness to let it be.
And PS it's already here.
So what would it be to not fight it?
That grip in the right under your rib cage there that pain maybe in the side,
Maybe in the back toward the spine.
To let every sensation simply be awareness witnessing and awareness bathing it.
And vibrating it to point out what's there without an opinion.
What a relief to let it all be.
That pain that grip is also God or source or oneness.
There's not any peace that isn't it.
There's no war to be had.
Good and letting that music now just bathe the spine behind the solar plexus.
Letting awareness and sound bathe the spine behind the heart now.
We're taking a very warm,
Delicious bath and awareness and sound.
Every part of the body is going to be bathed.
Every part is welcome.
And every part of our bodies has wounding it has trauma often.
So just for now to just let that sensation be.
And when we get to sensation,
Maybe right now as we're coming into the chest,
Feeling into that rib cage,
Feeling into the middle of the chest,
Letting the sound vibrate.
Maybe the pain in your heart.
From awareness,
We can see thought might kick up.
It's no problem at all.
It's actually a good sign.
We're on to something.
We're on to maybe a tender part that could use that awareness.
Maybe that's in your right in your heart.
Maybe it's in your sternum or your rib cage.
All the tissues in between the ribs.
Feeling all that sound and all that awareness,
Gently permeate,
Gently come in to those little crevices and little painful spots.
I'm totally fine if mind is busy.
Just come on back.
See and feel the vastness of awareness.
Back to awareness and come back to be that sensation.
The sensation itself wants that attention.
It wants to be touched.
Everything wants to be reconnected in awareness.
Everything wants to be seen.
Everything wants to come out of hiding.
Even that painful spot in your heart.
So bathing all the rib cage now and feeling into the upper part of the chest coming up to those collarbones and shoulders and shoulder blades.
Let's just let that sound wash through and awareness wash through,
Feeling through the base of the neck,
That little divot there deep inside the collarbones,
The spine between the shoulder blades.
And as we usually do,
Feel free to just express that pressure that often just naturally comes out through the mouth.
As you're aware of these spots,
The body relaxes,
The body feels safe,
It feels held and healed.
Feeling meaning returning to wholeness,
Being seen,
Being held,
Being touched and opening its hand,
Opening its face to you,
Awareness.
The whole body wants to be seen and felt aware of.
So just feeling now inside your arms,
Bringing that awareness to be through the arms.
Awareness aware of the vibration of the arms,
The vibration of the hands.
This fast,
Vast awareness,
Aware of the aliveness of your body.
This aliveness that is connected to the one aliveness to life itself.
It's not your aliveness and life's,
It's one aliveness.
And if you just bring that awareness to the hands and the arms,
You can feel,
We don't know where the hands begin and end.
This music points out this vibration that casts through the air,
Literally.
One pulse,
One vibration,
One movement that you are so a part of.
Awareness can be aware of that,
But mine never can.
I can't track anything,
It's incapable.
It's just a recorder.
It has to refer to the past or the future.
But in this moment,
There is just this 360 degree vastness and aliveness and unknownness.
We don't know what this is.
We don't know what's next.
We don't know how the arms and hands are so alive and how they're connected.
Let it all be a mystery and so alive and so vast.
Let's not try to understand it just for now.
Let's feel into the neck.
Feel this movement through the neck.
There's a stream of energy downward and there's a stream of energy upward.
You might feel inside the neck,
Maybe in the spine.
Or maybe as you close your eyes,
You might even see,
Certainly don't strain to,
But if your eyes are relaxed and if you're just relaxed as that awareness,
You might see and feel an upward movement of energy or light in the neck.
The neck being this vibrating,
Vast pool of energy,
Stream of energy,
Vibrating,
So vibrating.
And as you're aware of that vibration,
Aware of the feeling of sound in the neck,
You can be aware that we don't know where the neck begins and ends.
In fact,
We might sense,
I don't,
Maybe I don't have a neck.
Maybe where's that body that's so solid?
Starts to lose its solidity in awareness.
And it's safe.
It's safe to lose that solidity,
To let formlessness be seen,
Felt.
Let's bring that awareness into the head,
Feeling the back of the head,
Feeling the middle of the head between the ears,
Letting all this sound be felt in the vibration inside the head.
Feeling forward,
Coming forward along the skull and the top of the head.
Feel the music there,
Bring awareness to the top of the head and feel how that is absolutely open.
There is no separation between the space above your head and the inside of your head.
And more than that,
There's streams of energy moving through,
Spirals of energy,
Just endless energy,
Streaming and flowing,
Feeling inside the rest of the head,
The forward forebrain,
The forehead,
Feeling into the skull,
Feeling into the frontal lobe of the brain,
Feeling behind the eyes,
Feeling into those sinus cavities,
Into the brows,
Into the nose,
Under the eyes,
Roof of the mouth,
All of its vibrating.
Awareness can be aware of that.
Aware of the cheeks and the cheekbones,
The teeth.
Aware of the jaw,
Aware of the teeth,
The bottom teeth,
The tongue and the chin.
Aware of the ears and aware that from awareness,
From sensation,
From feeling the vibration of the sound,
Who knows where the face begins and ends,
The head,
The neck.
You can sense the quality of spaciousness cutting through everything.
How the vibration of everything moves and is so spacious,
So open.
Feel the openness of the area around your head and inside your head.
Feel the openness of your neck,
The openness of your chest.
Feel the formlessness as you're aware of awareness,
Aware of the spaciousness of awareness.
And aware of this vibration,
Moving in awareness.
Sensing this vibration that you are.
Feel how your whole body now.
Awareness,
Aware of the whole body and the whole space outside the body.
Awareness of the vibration moving through it all,
No separation there.
Awareness can be aware of the non-separation of all things.
It's right here and it feels like pure energy,
Vibration,
Space.
And if you're aware of the sound,
The vibration of sound,
You can be aware of that deepest dimension of pure quiet.
Awareness is silence.
The whole body,
The whole room,
The whole street,
The whole sky,
The chair,
The walls made of space,
Made of silence.
Awareness can be aware of this vast silence that everything is made of.
And it's right here in between every note,
In between every word.
And even the words and the notes are made of it.
You are soaking in it.
You are it.
Everywhere you look as awareness is vast quiet.
Let your whole body,
Your whole being open to that soft silence.
You are this endless silent.
Spaciousness that awareness can keep opening into.
Let yourself just keep dissolving into it.
It is incredibly silent and absolutely alive.
It's okay to not have a self,
To be untrackable,
To be this vastness.
It's very safe.
It's the safest thing because it's true.
You can let yourself continue to dissolve and open.
As Kieran likes to say,
Nothing will be lost.
And everything is gained because there is endless aliveness here,
Intelligence,
Connectedness.
You're just getting to know you.
You oneness.
You pure intelligent energy.
Pure silence.
That's you.
So let you be you.
You don't have a name.
You don't have a separate form.
You don't have a story.
And in that there is enormous freedom and peace.
So much Shraddha.
As you connect to vast silence,
This aliveness,
The body may have little healing moments and winding moments.
We call it alchemy.
Just let that be.
The body is amazing at knowing exactly how to heal itself.
And when we're plugged into this oneness,
When we're aware of it,
It has this intelligence,
How it moves energy through your body.
So just to give it up.
Let the silence have you.
Let the oneness have you.
There's little twitches or things.
It's totally fine.
Let the silence have you.
There's endless exploration here.
Endless rejuvenation.
Let the silence have you.
As you sense how vast,
How deep,
How soft and light and alive.
How formless things really are.
You can also be aware of this particular body.
Without giving it a name or going back to thought.
Just be aware of your hands and your feet and your hips.
You can still be very aware of what this body needs or wants.
So let's just listen from awareness from the spacious,
Vast awareness.
It needs a little stretch or some water and take all the time we need to slowly open our eyes and let just pure awareness look through them.
