Essential sleep.
I'm going to be guiding you into a beautiful meditation that takes you into a sacred bedroom within your heart and I'm going to teach you a few techniques,
Ways that you can connect in with this imagery and this experience so that you can get to sleep at any time,
Day or night,
That you need to.
So now all you need to do is to rest yourself back comfortably,
Close your eyes and for the next 10 minutes I will be guiding you toward an inner bedroom and I'll be making some suggestions to you that you can use again when you need to get yourself to sleep.
So just closing your eyes and connecting in with your breathing,
Taking in a few nice deep breaths,
That's good,
Breathing in a sense of calmness and relaxation and breathing away the tiredness and the stresses.
And I'd like you just to place your palms of your hands facing upwards and focus in on your fingertips and you might notice as you focus in on the fingertips a tingling sensation and so just giving yourself as much time as you need now just allowing for that tingling feeling in your fingertips.
And I'd like you just to keep your attention on that tingling sensation and as you feel that you know that you're bringing your attention inwards,
That you're focusing within and ready to take that inner journey to a beautiful bedroom where you can sleep peacefully and calmly,
A sanctuary.
So as you feel that tingling feeling just see how far that can move through your fingers into the palms of your hands and notice is it easier for you to focus on both hands at once or one at a time.
So just choose what works best for you.
Relaxing tingling feeling that's warm and comforting,
Connecting you with an inner calmness and peace,
A place to sleep.
So now I'd like you to imagine there's a warm feeling in your heart and so as you focus in on the area of your heart I'd like you to imagine that that is the doorway that opens and leads into this very beautiful and sacred bedroom within your heart.
And so get a sense of what the texture or what the doorway is like.
Notice the color,
If it has a door handle,
Does it push open easily and can you step inside.
And so as you step inside now you enter into a very beautiful room and it's an inner chamber of your heart.
And so as you make your way into that room now you can look over and you can see the most beautiful comfortable bed and you can make your way over noticing again the colors and the textures,
The fabric,
How this bedroom appears to you.
And so I'd like you just to allow that to build and create in its own way a beautiful sensual room.
It's your private bedroom,
Your sanctuary.
And so I'd like you to climb into that bed resting your head back on the pillow and feel that as you rest your head back and your body just heavy resting back there comfortably supported.
And as you sink into that lovely feeling of tiredness,
Surrendering to sleep,
It comes to your mind a word or a phrase that is just what you need to hear to support you at this time,
To nurture you,
To embrace you in that beautiful protective feeling that it's time and it's okay for you to fall into that beautiful sleep.
And so you can think that word and hear it whispered into your ear as you rest back closing your eyes resting your head back on the pillow.
It's a beautiful luxurious feeling surrendering into sleep easily and naturally and so you can sleep easily and comfortably until it's time for you to wake again.
Until it's time for you to wake again you can just sleep there and even if that sleep is just for five or ten minutes it can seem like a lot longer.
It can seem like hours,
Hours of beautiful restful sleep uninterrupted.
And as you sleep in your sacred bedroom you sleep at a very deep level.
Your body is nourished,
The muscles rejuvenated,
Your emotions calm and you connect into those beautiful feelings of love.
Love for your child,
For your baby,
Love for yourself.
And that feeling and experience of love is what nourishes you and everyone.
And so as you sleep deeply in this beautiful way your body is nourished,
Your mind is calm,
Your emotions soft and your dreams positive,
Sweet dreams.
And so you can think your word in your mind,
A word that can connect you again to this loving bedroom,
The experience,
The found for you.
And so you can think that word and you can focus on your fingertips,
The tingling sensation in your fingertips.
And you're connecting at a very deep level,
Connecting with your physical sensation,
The tingling sensation in your fingertips,
With your word and this beautiful image and experience,
Positive,
Nourishing.
And so as you connect in with that now,
This is something that you can connect in again whenever you need to,
At any time of the day or night,
When you need to get some rest or get some sleep,
All you have to do is to connect in again with this word,
Focus in on your heart and feel the tingling feeling in your fingertips.
And as you focus in you will automatically fall into a very beautiful deep sleep.
And you can trust that each time that you come to practice this way of getting to sleep,
It becomes easier and easier for you.
Your feelings of love,
Unconditional love for yourself.
And so that sleep within your sleep,
The bedroom within your bedroom,
The bedroom within your heart,
You can connect in again wherever you are,
Wherever you sleep.
All you have to do is to position yourself comfortably,
That's right.
Allowing for images to come to your mind of your beautiful heart bedroom and automatically you'll fall asleep into a very beautiful nourishing sleep.
