In this practice we will cultivate a deep sense of love and acceptance for ourselves,
Nurturing our inner being.
Find a comfortable position,
Allowing your body to relax completely.
Take a moment to become aware of your breath,
Inhaling deeply and exhaling slowly.
Remember that you are deserving of love and compassion,
Just as you are.
Begin by bringing your attention to your heart centre,
The seat of love and compassion within you.
Visualise a soft,
Warm light glowing in the centre of your chest.
This light represents the essence of your true self,
Pure and unconditionally loving.
With each breath imagine this loving light expanding and filling your entire body.
Feel it spreading to every cell,
Bringing healing and nurturing energy.
As you continue to breathe,
Allow any tension or self-judgement to dissolve in the presence of this loving light.
Now bring to mind three qualities or attributes that you appreciate about yourself.
It could be your kindness,
Creativity or any other positive aspect.
Embrace these qualities,
Allowing them to radiate within you.
Feel a sense of gratitude for the unique qualities that make you who you are.
As you bask in this self-appreciation,
Imagine sending love and kindness to every part of your body,
Starting from the top of your head.
Allow this wave of love to wash away any self-criticism or doubt,
Replacing it with a deep sense of self-love and self-worth.
Now expand your love outward beyond yourself.
Visualise sending love and compassion to your loved ones,
Friends and even those you may find challenging.
Embrace the interconnectedness of all beings,
Knowing that love is a powerful force that can heal and transform.
Take a moment to reflect on any limiting beliefs or negative self-talk that may be holding you back.
Recognise these thoughts,
But do not judge them.
With each breath,
Imagine releasing these self-limiting beliefs,
Allowing them to dissolve in the loving light within you.
Replace them with affirmations of self-love and acceptance.
Gently bring your awareness back to your breath,
Feeling the rise and fall of your chest.
Take a moment to appreciate the love and compassion you have cultivated within yourself.
Carry this feeling of self-love with you throughout your day,
Knowing that you are worthy of all the love and happiness life has to offer.
When you are ready,
Slowly open your eyes and take a moment to ground yourself,
Wiggling fingers and toes,
Bringing awareness back to your physical body.
Carry this sense of self-love and acceptance with you as you navigate the world,
Allowing it to guide your actions and interactions.
