A meditation to self regulate your emotions and soothe your scared, anxious or triggered inner child. This meditation is a wonderful practice to ground yourself and get back from mind to body in moments when you feel panic, attack, abandonment or rejection. This is also a practice you can refer to many times in your healing journey to generate a sense of safety, reparent your inner child and stabilizing your nervous system on a consistent basis.

Hi beautiful souls,

Welcome.

Today we are going to dive into a beautiful meditation practice for the days when we are triggered,

When we're feeling rejected,

Abandoned or just feeling anxious and afraid.

These are the days when we feel vulnerable,

When we are in pain and fear.

This practice is meant to soothe your heart,

Soothe your inner child and bring it back to feeling safe,

Relaxed and allowing it to be a healing balm to come back into the present moment.

A sweet reassurance that we all need from time to time.

So close your beautiful eyes and if you prefer you can lie down or you can sit straight but surround yourself with some comforting cushions,

A soft toy perhaps,

Some blankets and anything that feels safe and comforting and warm and fuzzy to you.

Once you are settled,

Feel safe and secure and good.

Start tuning into your breaths,

Start noticing how shallow your breaths have become and perhaps try to deepen them by inhaling through your mouth and exhaling out through your mouth with a big sigh.

If you prefer you can inhale through your mouth like you're drinking water with a straw.

Once more,

Drink the air through your mouth like you're sipping water with a straw.

Hold it,

Exhale it.

Hopefully you're feeling a little better.

Now bring your fingertips or your palms to your upper chest right below your collarbones and slowly start tapping with your palms,

With your fingers.

Continue tapping here and repeating the affirmations with me.

I'm here for you,

Everything is okay,

Everything will be okay.

I'm not leaving you,

I'm staying here,

I'm staying here,

I love you,

I care for you,

I respect you,

I'm here for you,

I accept you just the way you are,

I'm here for you,

I accept you just the way you are,

You are safe with me.

You can fasten the pace of your tapping as you say these affirmations again.

I'm here for you,

Everything is gonna be okay,

Relax,

You're safe,

I'm right here,

I love you,

You are perfect just the way you are.

Start tapping in the middle of your chest,

It's all okay,

Everything is happening,

Best case scenario,

Everything is happening,

Best case scenario.

I love you,

I'm here for you,

You're safe with me.

Start tapping onto your right side with your left hand and your left side with your right hand like a butterfly motion and keep saying these affirmations.

You're safe with me,

You are okay,

I'm here for you,

You're not alone,

You're not alone,

Everything is okay,

Everything will be okay,

I love you,

I'm here for you,

You're amazing,

I love you,

I'm not going anywhere,

I'm here for you,

I'm here for you,

I care for you,

I respect and honor you,

I love you,

You are safe with me,

I see you,

I'm here for you,

You can relax now.

Now slowly bring your hands to give yourself a big hug,

Hold yourself and swing from left to right like you are holding a baby,

Hold yourself,

Give yourself the love and safety that your inner child craves for,

Feel the hold,

Feel the hold,

Everything will be okay,

Everything is okay,

You're safe,

I'm here for you,

I love you,

I love you,

Love you,

Love you just the way you are,

Relax now,

Everything is okay,

You're protected,

You're safe,

It's all okay,

Stay here for as long as you wish to,

Repeating these words over and over again,

You can bring your palms to your belly and soothe it,

Calm it down and say to yourself you're safe,

Like you would comfort a baby,

You're safe,

Okay,

Everything is okay,

I'm not going anywhere,

I'm right here,

You can relax now,

Everything is being taken care of,

Everything is okay,

You relax now,

Continue these words of affirmation,

Reassurance and soothing and when you're ready,

Slowly,
