Where is this 'me' that I defend or project? See, honestly, can that fully open, vibrant, alert, engaged presence come in and fully infuse this sky mind, this open center, where this identity of the 'me' used to reside when it was identified as something separate? Just sense it. The 'me' is infused by the natural presence, the natural state. It's the full living spirit that infuses the life, the being.

So just experience the aliveness that is moving through the body.

It's freed up.

It's freed up because there's very little impact coming into the life.

And feel the aliveness all around the body because it's the same and it's the vase that appears to have edges and it just collapses.

There is no in and there is no out.

So that aliveness that is all around this holy presence,

This holy spirit,

This great being,

This alive,

Isness,

Suchness,

Is within and without equally.

And you can sense,

You know,

Emptiness is such a nondescriptive word really.

It just means empty of any separate sense of identity as a separate person.

And again the openness to that receptivity from,

You know,

The divine and the celestials and the,

You know,

The wise beings that serve humanity.

You know,

It's an open channel to that because you're a part of that.

You're not separate from that.

And yet,

You know,

It's like the iron mountain.

There's this deep stability.

You're not swayed by people's opinions or ideas or,

You know,

The charges that erupt within our culture or what we watch on the screens.

There's something that is stable,

Something that is rooted.

And it's not just rooted into the ground that means I'm a real rooted stable person.

It means it's rooted in its own essence.

The fundamental essence that we all spring from.

The root as the Godhead,

As the fundamental primordial ground,

As the one constant before birth through this life and after death,

Same.

That's when the fear of death falls away.

That's when the fear of life falls away.

And so there's that sense of it's taking your seat.

It's a stable or another way to describe it is the one taste.

And then whatever arises,

Whether it's thoughts or sensations or insights or vision or resistance,

You know,

It really makes no difference.

It all is the same,

You know,

Energy if you want to call it that,

The same life force but it's flavored by different appearances,

Guests in the home,

In the house.

But that I like this,

I don't like this,

This is good,

This is not good,

You know,

This is me and my relationship with God knows what and this is my fear.

All of that my,

It just doesn't coalesce anymore.

It's more like it just arises and is seen and permeated and loved and comes back home and something else arises and thinking happens,

Thinking doesn't happen.

It all becomes just wavelets on this vast,

Open,

Alive,

Loving,

Awake consciousness.

Silence is full of everything.

It's the birth,

The ground of it all.

Enlightenment by the 10,

000 things.

That's what it's pointing to.

And so in this kind of open attention,

Open seeing,

Just simply bring just like a,

You know,

5% of your attention,

10% of your attention and the rest is just open and alive and vibrating and arising and falling,

You know,

What it is.

But that little bit of an attention right in the center of this open globality,

This open field of being,

Bring it to the center of the forehead and then just see what's there.

And for some,

You know,

It's just,

It's the sky mind,

It's open,

It's really no different from the rest of the being.

For others,

You may just kind of sense,

It's just kind of like a touching sense of something that has,

It's like a muscle that's been used or really overutilized and it's become kind of rigid and tight.

You just sense kind of a tightness maybe in the center of the forehead.

That's where that line is that everyone's getting Botoxed out.

And just bring this bare attention to it and at the same time feel this expansive quality that's all around,

Above,

Below and all the way through it and just allow it to become untied.

It's like a knotted tension and it just on its own,

You don't have to do anything except just bring an open attention to it and it starts to dissipate and relax and open up and it becomes like a sky quality,

An open sky quality.

And then whatever wants to move through it does,

You know,

It's the classic,

You know,

The sky whether it's clouds or dark or light or fierce winds or calm breezes.

And it just all moves through this open sky mind.

And then just sort of drop this little question into that open sky mind and where is this me that I defend and project and,

You know,

Have opinions about and fears and I like it,

I don't like it,

I dress it up,

I,

All these things.

Where is this me?

And see honestly,

With this real almost fierce honesty,

Where is this me?

Where does it reside?

Where is it in this body that I also define as me?

And if asked sincerely,

There's just a sense of kind of allowing this open revealing of itself because as you so ask,

So shall you receive.

It's a universal law and so if you sincerely bring out a question,

The intelligence that is within you,

The source of wisdom responds to it.

You know,

There's no other way that that can be.

The answer is in the question.

And you might even sense when you ask that question,

Was there a contraction in the middle of the forehead because it's trying to know or could it just be open and let like a pebble dropped into a still pool and it ripples out and then it ripples back.

And then if I really sincerely cannot find this me and yet this open,

Vibrant,

Ease,

Alert,

Awake,

Engaged presence.

Can that come in and fully infuse this sky mind,

This open center where this identity of the me used to reside when it was identified as something separate?

Just sense it.

And for a moment it may be,

You know,

Like what is she talking about?

And then maybe there's kind of like a spacey quality.

And then that same alert,

Palpable,

Kind of effervescent,

Curious aliveness that's all around you and all through the body,

That global awareness can now enter where that sense of that contraction that was familiar called me,

That sense of this awake presence can now fully reveal itself.

It's no longer obscured or hindered by the current appearance or identity that arises and falls through this kind of open center.

And what is that like?

To have this freshness and aliveness and no need to opinion and to define and to defend or the latest identity or concept,

The ease of that,

It's just,

It's fresh.

It's current.

It's here.

There's a great energy,

Aliveness in that freshness.

And so that habitual sense of me that identified itself as,

And it changes moment by moment,

Though there is an overriding sense of the separate me,

It's open.

It's delighted.

It's curious.

It's very,

Very present.

But it's unhindered.

It's not obscured by the ornaments of thought and memory.

And then the me is infused by the natural presence,

The natural state.

And then that pointer of no position,

No location is actually realized.

It's this intimacy of the most delicious,

Unimaginative,

Here-ness,

Is-ness.

There's not even an I,

It's just eh.

So as best as possible,

Remaining as this open seeing,

Open listening,

Walking,

Eating,

Snapping,

Loving,

And allows love to fully,

Fully fill up this being,

This allow it to come forth.

It's already present,

But it allows it to come forth.

And it pours through the cells,

Above,

Below,

Around,

All the way through.

And this is the embodiment.

It wasn't some refined spiritual idealism that begins to live the life.

It's the full living spirit that infuses the life,

The being.

And then this that is always wanted,

Which is deep intimacy,

A deep sense of belonging,

Being a part of,

Loving.

And it's just like anything else,

You know,

It'll be a little awkward perhaps,

Or there's some confusion,

And maybe like even some grief of something familiar,

No longer there in the way that it was.

That's alright.

It all just sort of rights itself.

It comes and it goes,

And then there's a kind of a settling,

If you want to call it that.

A stabilizing.

And not in some rigid form,

But in a,

Like an open allowing.

We're not quite used to that.

That may feel a little awkward.

What is it like when that center is filled up with thoughts and a feeling of me,

Or what does it feel like when it's just open and experiencing itself,

Being,

Rather than the opinionated doer?

And you may find some old residue that just keeps getting kind of like burnt or consumed.

You know,

Like a little bit of a tightness or a thickness,

And it just naturally will come back and dissolve itself.

And then there's a little bit more openness,

And then it dissolves itself,

And there's a little bit more openness.

And then there's just sky mind.

Uh-huh.

So just take a few moments and experiment and find out for yourself.

It was one of the Buddhists,

The Buddha's great teachings.

Know this for yourself.

And you might even feel there's a response,

You know,

The second chakra,

I mean the eye,

The open,

They call it the third eye.

It actually is in the middle of the eyes,

The forehead,

But it actually has a channel that goes back through the skull,

You know,

The pituitary and the pineal,

And then it goes out the open atlas part of the neck.

And so you might even feel that channel opening and then the back of the neck starts to respond and open to that.

And you know,

In some traditions they call that the eye of God or the mouth of God.

That's when not my will but thy will join.

There's a great Egyptian painting that,

You know,

Horace is completely open and the wings come out of right in the back of the neck of the atlas.

And that's what that's depicting.

Double-u.
