So today I'm going to be doing a sound bath for you.
So get cozy wherever you are.
If you want to use an eye pillow,
You can.
I would recommend a blanket because it can get a little cool if you're laying in one position for a while.
So now we're in the autumn season.
The leaves are starting to change here.
And the holidays are coming,
But not quite here yet.
So we're on the cusp of that,
Which is an exciting time of transformation.
So maybe you're in your own way going through some transformation,
Some transition.
Honoring that,
Whatever you may be going through in life.
And setting your own personal intention right now for this practice.
My intention is to create a safe and sacred space for you today to relax and enjoy this time for you.
We're going to begin with a body scan now.
Starting from the scalp.
Observing your body and how it's feeling in this moment.
Softening your scalp muscles and your neck muscles.
Grounding and softening into the earth your shoulders,
Your back,
Upper and lower.
Your chest muscles softening.
Relaxing your core,
Abdominal muscles.
Relaxing your buttocks and your legs and arms.
Maybe rotating your ankles or wrists right now.
Or your fingers and toes,
Just letting out any excess energy that needs to go right now.
That's no longer needed.
Visualizing your intention for this practice.
And maybe two action steps that will better serve you with your own intention.
I will leave a little time for silence at the end.
Your heart space lighting you up.
And receiving that instant remembering of who you are.
How wonderful you are.
Of your important purpose in this world.
And of how much you are needed by all of us within our nation,
Our world,
Our universe.
Although we are small in retrospect,
We are all needed and appreciated.
We can make a lot of great impact even with small actions.
These small actions can accumulate and really make a difference in helping different people in our lives.
Helping animals,
Helping nature.
