So,
Let's now sit comfortably,
Probably you are already sitting comfortably.
And close our eyes.
We will take one deep breath.
Then breathe slowly and gently letting our body relax more and more.
With every breath we take.
So,
In this brief meditation we will take as our object of expansion the breathing process.
Breathing process that is taking place this very moment.
The air flowing through and into our nostrils.
And comes out through and out of our nostrils.
The gentle rhythmic movements that take place in the body in response to this process,
The rising and falling of the belly.
A gentle expansion of the chest.
A diaphragm.
Be aware for this time of this delicate and constant exchange that you have with the world,
With the cosmos,
With nature.
So,
As you are getting in touch with the breathing process,
Slowly move into its depth,
Into its very core.
And try to describe it to yourself,
Either vocally or silently within your mind.
What does it feel like?
Look for an area in the body in which you feel the most the breathing process.
This can be naturally the nostrils but it can also be anywhere else.
The belly,
The forehead,
The chest and so on.
And now look for a shape,
An image or a general sensation through your inner senses.
Then look for a colour perhaps.
A general feeling or even a fragrance.
Now,
Breathe into the breathing process.
Feel it from within.
Let it spread more and more and permeate your entire body and being.
Breathe into the area in the body and the shape or image or sensation that are most connected to this breathing process.
Breathe into it and let it expand.
Breathe and expand until this shape,
Image or sensation reaches its outermost limit.
Until it cannot expand anymore.
Now ask,
Breathing process,
Show yourself completely to me.
When the shape,
Image or sensation has reached its maximum limit.
Move into the expanded state,
Into its very core and try to describe it to yourself.
What does it feel like?
Perhaps the breathing process has become subtler perhaps.
Some accumulated tensions are leaving the system.
Whatever is taking place,
What does it feel like,
This expanded state?
Now look for an area in the body that responds the most to this expanded state.
Look for a shape or image or general sensation in that area of the body.
Perhaps there is colour.
There is a general feeling or even fragrance.
Now give a general name to this expanded state.
Whatever comes up.
Very good.
So now breathe into this expanded state.
Feel it from within.
Let it spread more and more and permeate your entire body and being.
Breathe into the image or shape or general sensation in that area of the body.
Breathe into it.
Breathe and expand more and more until it reaches its maximum limit.
Until it cannot expand anymore.
Let the image,
Shape or sensation expand infinitely.
Ask this expanded state,
Show yourself completely to me.
Breathe into the image or shape or general sensation in that area of the body.
Breathe into the image or shape or general sensation in that area of the body.
Move into the depths of the expanded state after the previous expanded state has reached its maximum limit.
Move into its very core.
And try to describe to yourself what does it feel like.
From this new expanded state have you gained a new understanding of the meaning,
Perhaps a deeper meaning of the breathing process.
So as much as possible choose to remain in this wider state.
Also now that you are going to slowly open your eyes and come out of the meditation.
