Find somewhere to sit.
To be with yourself.
Your first lover.
The one you came into the world with is you.
And your breath.
So breathe.
Bring all your attention to just a simple breath.
In and out.
Just this rhythm of in and out.
Like a dance.
Like every breath is a kiss to you.
In your arms.
In your arms.
I long to be.
Just in and out.
Through your nose.
Trap in on just how good it feels to breathe.
Checking in on the body.
The shoulders.
The belly.
Are you breathing from your belly?
When you breathe in,
Is your stomach rising?
When you breathe out,
Is your stomach falling?
We're not pushing away other feelings.
We're tapping in with them.
So the thoughts and other feelings arise from whatever situation you're going through.
Whatever storm is carrying.
Let's just acknowledge it like the weather pattern it is.
Sadness is a storm.
It'll come.
It'll go.
Hello,
Rain.
Hello,
Loss.
And grief.
And shame.
And loneliness.
And excitement.
These are all storms.
Weather patterns.
Weather conditions.
When the fog comes,
We know that soon it will go.
And that's okay.
We just acknowledge that it's here.
So every thought that comes,
Just acknowledge.
And then when you're ready,
Come back to your breath.
In and out.
We are present for this.
All of this.
Even this is part of life.
All of this is part of life.
There's a time for sun.
There's a time for darkness.
There's a time for water.
There's a time for fire.
Just sense what time is it now for you.
Without being caught up in it,
Just observing it.
All of it.
Acknowledging its presence.
And coming back to the breath.
As things slow down more,
We tap in on our true nature.
The part of us with no hooks.
The part of us that stands freely.
Our ability to pause.
Our ability to observe the things that are happening around us.
And to not be hooked by them.
To be carried away with the storm is a sign of our liberation.
Our ability to see all of the destruction and not be destructed is a sign of our liberation.
And we practice our liberation by just giving all we have to our breath.
In.
All the way in.
Out.
And all the way out.
For these next few moments,
Just keep it right there.
Coming back.
Smile.
Because there's a smile in you.
Somewhere.
Liberate this smile.
Whenever you can.
Whatever it is that you still have.
Whatever your reason is to smile.
Just allow it.
Allow it.
And when you're ready,
Just slowly come back to wherever you are.
You can tap in on whatever energy in you that you like.
And if it's hard to tap in on your gratitude right now,
That's okay.
Be patient with yourself.
And keep tapping in.
This is the practice.
Blessings.
