This short 4-minute meditation invites you to return to the breath—your ever-present anchor in times of busyness, emotion, or overwhelm. With a soft and nurturing tone, I will guide you into the simplicity of presence, reminding you that peace isn’t something to chase—it’s something you return to, one breath at a time. A guided reflection is included to help you integrate the experience, deepen awareness, and carry its calm into your day. Thank you for being here, Sue

Welcome.

This is your invitation to pause.

To come home to your breath.

In just a few moments,

You will gently return to the rhythm within you.

Your ever-present guide.

Find a comfortable seated or lying position.

Let your hands rest softly and if it feels right,

Close your eyes.

Take a gentle breath in through the nose and a long,

Easy breath out through the mouth.

Inhale slowly.

Exhale fully.

Allow the breath to settle into its own natural rhythm.

You don't need to change anything.

Just notice.

Notice the inhale and the exhale and the rise and the fall.

If your mind begins to wander,

Gently return.

There is no wrong moment to come back.

Silently affirming to yourself this breath,

This moment.

Let the breath be your anchor.

Let it carry you inward.

One inhale,

One exhale at a time.

Rest here for a few more gentle breaths,

Allowing the body to soften and the mind to quieten.

This breath,

This moment.

One inhale,

One exhale at a time.

When you're ready,

Slowly bring your awareness back to the space around you.

Wiggle your fingers and toes and take one deep breath in and a sigh out.

I have returned to myself.

Thank you for taking this time.

May your day flow from this quiet center within.

With stillness and warmth,

May you always sense greater peace.
