This deeply grounding meditation explores Asteya — the yogic principle of non-stealing — through the lens of sufficiency, trust, and quiet abundance. Rather than focusing on what to resist or avoid, this practice opens a gentle doorway into receiving the gifts already present in your life. You’ll be guided through breath awareness, body connection, and reflective mantras that help release comparison, soften striving, and return you to the calm truth that you are already enough. There’s no need to understand yoga philosophy to benefit from this session. Whether you are new to meditation or well along your path, this space invites you to rest… to feel held… and to remember the beauty of being right where you are. With love, Sue

Namaste and welcome.

This is a meditation on Asteya,

The yogic principle of non-stealing,

Which blossoms into a deep trust in the abundance of life.

Asteya is about releasing the need to take,

Whether it's time,

Energy,

Attention or experiences that aren't ours to hold.

And just as beautifully,

Asteya invites us to honour what is already here.

This practice turns towards the positive expression of Asteya,

Inner sufficiency,

Gratitude,

Trust and the joy of enough.

It is an opportunity to soften comparison,

To return to your own path and to celebrate the richness of being present.

Let us begin.

Find a comfortable posture,

Close your eyes and soften your gaze.

Let your breath move in naturally and flow out gently.

Feel the earth beneath you,

The quiet within you and let yourself arrive.

Say silently,

Right now,

I have what I need.

Let each breath deepen the sense of presence and let your body feel held by the moment.

Now bring awareness to the subtle places where you may grasp or compare,

Where do you feel pulled into not enough,

Where do you find yourself measuring worth by what's missing.

With each inhale,

Breathe in compassion and with each exhale,

Release the need to strive and say inwardly,

I choose to trust in sufficiency.

I release the myth of lack.

Feel the quiet fullness of this moment,

No need to gather,

Improve or prove,

Just be and let the breath remind you,

You are already home.

I choose to trust in sufficiency.

I live in abundance.

Nestea invites us to see the gifts we often overlook,

Bring to mind something simple yet beautiful in your life,

A kind word,

A moment of peace,

A breath,

A sunrise and let gratitude rise not as an obligation but a gentle noticing and silently say,

I honor the gifts already given,

I live in quiet abundance.

And feel yourself receiving,

Not taking,

Trusting,

Not clinging,

Nestea is the art of walking with open hands and a full heart,

So rest here,

Breathing into this steady,

Grounded enoughness.

I am enough,

I have enough,

I share from my overflow.

I choose to trust sufficiency.

I honor the gifts already given,

I live in quiet abundance.

I am enough,

I have enough,

And I share from my overflow.

When you're ready,

Gently begin to move the body and return slowly without rush.

Let the spirit of Nestea guide you today,

Not as restriction but as freedom,

Not as lack but as radiant trust in the timing and unfolding of your path.

With fullness and peace,

Thank you for being here and may you sense greater peace always.
