Hello and welcome to Serenely Elevated by Charlotte Faye.
This is your peace and calm meditation.
Let's start by taking a deep breath in and letting it go with an audible sigh,
Releasing any tension and negative energy.
Just take a few moments to get comfortable in your quiet and calm space.
Moving your body to rest into that relaxed seated or laying down position.
Closing your eyes or slightly hazing them,
Whichever is more comfortable for you.
Now that you are comfortable,
I want you to find your breath.
I want you to concentrate on its natural rhythm.
It should be an organic breath and never be forced.
Just follow its natural rhythm for a few moments.
Following it as you inhale and then as you exhale.
Feeling your body fill with the beautiful air around you and then feeling your body deflate as you exhale.
Now slowly working down your body.
Starting from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.
Relaxing each area as you go.
Relaxing the head,
The neck and the shoulders.
Releasing any tension that is stored here.
Doing the same with your left arm and your right arm.
Releasing any tension in the chest and your back.
Releasing tension in the tummy and your hips.
Finally your right leg and your left leg.
Right down to the tips of your toes.
You should by now feel thoroughly relaxed as you continue to follow your breath in and out.
I want you to imagine that you're sitting by a lake on luscious green grass.
The grass is soft as you brush it with your hands.
You look out at the lake before you.
The water is calm and peaceful and clear.
The sun breaks through the clouds above you and you see the water begin to dance like crystals as the sun hits the surface.
You are calm and you are at peace here in this beautiful place.
Everything around you is pure,
Calm and peaceful.
Peace and calm surround your body as you stand and walk towards the water's edge.
The water brushes your feet and as it does you feel it cool your skin.
You begin to walk along the water's edge and soak up the peace and calm with every step that you take.
As you continue to walk you start to repeat a mantra.
As you breathe in you say in your mind's eye,
I am peaceful and as you breathe out you say in your mind's eye,
I am calm.
Breathing in,
I am peaceful.
Breathing out,
I am calm.
Inhale,
I am peaceful.
Exhale,
I am calm.
Repeating this for several breaths.
I am peaceful,
I am calm.
I am peaceful,
I am calm.
I am peaceful,
I am calm.
I am peaceful,
I am calm.
When you are ready bring yourself back to your breath on its own.
Feel the inhale,
Feel your body and then feel the exhale release any negative energy and tension.
Breathing in,
Breathing out slowly starting to bring yourself back to your physical body.
Starting to feel the ground beneath you and starting to feel the air around you.
Beginning to listen to the sounds in your immediate surroundings.
Feeling more awake now.
When you are ready I'd like you to open your eyes and take another breath in and out with an audible sigh.
Slowly taking in your surroundings.
