Welcome to Breathing into Presence.
I invite you to bring awareness to how you are breathing at this moment,
This mystery that allows you to live this precious life.
As you bring curiosity to your breathing at this moment,
Give thanks for this oxygen,
For the ability to breathe and to connect to the unseen web of life.
As this miracle is happening right now within your being,
Gifting you life,
Cultivating the attitude of gratitude for having this breath and becoming aware of how it moves through you in this moment now,
Which is ever changing.
I invite you to tune in to what feels heavy or unwanted in your bodies,
And as you breathe in,
Release with an audible sigh,
Letting go of what no longer serves you.
On the next inhale,
Lift the shoulders up,
Retain the breath at the top,
Focusing on what you are letting go of,
And allow a more audible sigh.
This sound is energy,
And it helps to transform what feels stuck inside.
Repeat this a couple of times,
See if you can retain a little bit longer at the top,
Without creating any tension,
And allow a more audible sigh,
Releasing,
Letting go,
And surrendering.
One last time.
I invite you to close the lips,
And decide what you need more of in your life.
May it be compassion,
Peace,
Abundance,
Love,
And breathe that in,
Into the body and the nervous system,
Allowing each breath to be long,
Deep,
And relaxed.
If you know Ujjayi breath,
Which is the contraction of the glottis,
As you inhale and exhale,
Bring that in,
But not needed if you are unable to do that.
Breathing in what you need more of in your life,
Retain at the top,
Focusing on what it is that you're bringing in.
Then exhale slowly through the nose,
Allowing what you need more of to go out into the world,
So others can receive that.
Taking six full,
Long breaths,
Focusing on what you're bringing in to your body,
Retaining at the top,
And as you exhale,
Know that you're giving that out,
Out into the universe,
Raising the frequency on the planet.
In one more breath,
Wherever you are at.
And with compassion and curiosity,
Just notice the subtle shifts,
Changes within,
Not only your body,
But your state of mind.
If you'd like to extend this practice and make positive changes in your life,
Stopping the repetition of negative thought in your mind or becoming more present and conscious,
I invite you to set a timer in your day.
And when you hear that timer,
It means one thing.
Taking three deep breaths,
Breathing in what you need and releasing what you don't need,
Or just breathing in what you need and sharing that out into the world.
Set the timer as often that feels comfortable for you.
Maybe the first day,
It's one time,
The second day,
It's two times.
But listen to what feels comfortable for you.
And it's through repetition we can make change.
And this change will help bring more presence,
Consciousness,
And peace into your life.
May every breath you take be long,
Deep,
Relaxed with joy and consciousness.
Have a beautiful day.
