Let's push pause on the day and take a few breaths together. During this guided practice, we will create space for connection with observation through our breath and exploration of what is existing within our body. This is a time to allow space for whatever is relevant for you to simply exist without the agenda of change, control, or necessity for anything to be any other way than what it is exactly. Come breath with me. Song: Take My Time by Dr. Delight

Hello,

And welcome back.

I wanted to take a few minutes to drop into presence with you,

To push pause on the day to day,

The obligations,

The pressures,

The anxiety,

The stress,

And to simply be here,

You and me,

Me and you,

In this moment,

Right here,

Right now.

I have discovered that one of the places that feels most connective for me is in my breath.

It is the one place that I can really explore receiving and releasing,

Giving and taking,

And holding through and into the discomforts of what it is to be me.

It is something that helps me let go,

Or at least for a moment,

Find calm.

My breath has helped me really evolve the way that I can hold things that are uncomfortable,

And that I can challenge the complexities that exist outside of me.

So for these next few minutes,

I want to just invite you to drop into presence with me,

And to take some breaths.

And then through our breathing,

We can find a place of connectivity,

And we can open up space for more.

So let's take a moment to adjust how we are existing.

Find a space that feels comfortable for you in this moment.

Perhaps you are sitting or lying down,

Or maybe even standing.

In whatever way you are taking up space,

Find a point of connectivity to the surface below you,

Whether it be through your feet,

Or your seats,

Or your entire body.

And then I want for us to really turn our attention into air that is coming in and out of our body,

Which is our breath.

Breathing in our natural pace,

In our natural way,

Without the agenda to change it,

Or transform it,

Or shape it into something that it is not.

But really giving space for it to be exactly as it is.

Oftentimes we move through days in life without intentionality,

Without the ability to truly connect to what is existing within us.

And so for these moments ahead,

For these breaths ahead,

I want for us to just be with our practice of being intentional.

And our practice of intentionality today is just to witness.

As we witness,

We can move our attention to different places.

So if you would like,

You can close your eyes.

Or if it feels better for you,

Perhaps you just find a place of stillness to focus your gaze.

Breathe at your natural pace,

Allow your breath to move in and out in the way that it would like,

Without control,

Without pressure,

Without effort.

Let's tune our attention into our chest.

As you take your breath in and out in their own natural form,

How does your chest feel?

This question is not for correction.

It is not for control.

It is purely and simply to observe,

To witness,

And to hold space for what is.

Let's move our attention down into the center of our chest,

Into our heart space.

Continue our breaths in and out in the ways that they come and go.

How does your heart feel?

As we continue our breath,

We continue downward into our center belly,

Between our ribs and our belly button.

How does your belly feel?

Moving down a little lower,

Below the belly button,

Just above the pelvic floor.

How does it feel?

Our observation is to really tune into the exploration of what is happening within,

What is existing outside of us,

And creating space for understanding of how we feel when we become present.

When we create space for observation,

And when we release control and just hold and let go.

As you continue your breath in your own natural way,

At its own natural pace,

I want to invite you to really allowing your attention,

Your focus,

Where you are tapping and tuning into,

To flow.

I guided you in through the center of your body,

But perhaps your attention wants to go somewhere else.

Maybe we witness and observe what is happening in our hands,

Or our feet,

Or our legs,

Or our thighs,

Or our head,

Or our eyes.

Where does your breath take your attention?

Where does your attention go?

As you inhale and exhale at the pace that is happening naturally without control,

What are you tuning into?

Where can you feel into?

What observations can you uncover and discover within you as you commit to the practice of letting go of control?

Let's take a few more breaths together in our own pace,

In our own way,

In our own bodies,

In our own observation.

Surrendering to just breathing without an agenda,

Without a formula,

Without a necessity to perfect or perform,

But really just to be here,

Right here,

Right now.

Breathing,

Being,

Existing,

And observing.

You can remain here for as long as you like,

Breathing in and out at your own pace,

In your own way,

Allowing more calm,

Allowing more spaciousness,

Allowing more room for observation,

Or as long as feels welcomed by you.

I'll leave you here with your breath,

But thank you for tuning in and taking the time to breathe with me.

See you soon.
