Hello friend and welcome to this morning routine practice.

Truly it can be used any time of the day,

But I use it as my morning routine every morning to help me cultivate presence and step into the position of the loving observer of my experience.

My name is Genevieve McKenzie.

I am a certified psychosynthesis life coach,

Researcher,

And teacher.

Psychosynthesis is the psychology of the soul,

And it helps us learn how to observe our experience and take back control over our fears,

Worries,

And doubts.

This meditation is going to consist of three different parts,

And I will guide you through each of them.

With that,

We're going to begin with three deep breaths,

Holding at the top.

So go ahead and breathe in through the nose,

Hold at the top,

And release through the mouth.

Again,

In through the nose,

Hold at the top,

And release through the mouth.

One more here,

In through the nose,

Hold at the top,

And release through the mouth.

Beautiful.

I want you to take a moment and ask yourself,

What does it feel like to be me today?

Take a moment and name the emotions that are present for you right now.

Today,

I'm feeling anxious,

And that's okay.

Today,

I'm experiencing calm,

And I love that.

Today,

I'm experiencing frustration,

And I love that.

Take a few moments here to name the emotions that are present for you today.

Now,

We will disidentify from these emotions.

I want you to affirm to yourself that I am this experience,

But I am also more than this experience.

I am not my thoughts,

I am not my emotions,

And I am not my body.

I am the loving observer of all of these things.

I am boundless potential,

Will,

Enthusiasm,

And appreciation.

I have thoughts,

But I am not my thoughts.

I have the ability to observe and choose towards or away from my thoughts.

I have emotions,

But I am not my emotions.

I have the ability to choose towards or away my emotions.

I have a body,

But I am not my body,

And I have the ability to choose towards or away from the sensations within my body.

I am the loving observer of all of my experience,

And I observe myself with compassion,

With acceptance,

And with grace.

Now,

We will move into a prayer of surrender.

Just for today,

I recognize the limits of my personality.

I recognize that my personality isn't always the best at getting me what I need.

I recognize that my personality only holds a worldly view,

And there is a boundless intelligent energy supporting me.

I surrender to this energy.

I surrender to the wisdom of the universe.

I surrender to the wisdom of my soul,

And I intend to allow myself to be a clear channel for my potential to express itself in this world.

Just for today,

I intend to move out of my way and allow my soul to lead my actions.

Today I commit to listening more than planning.

Today I will stay bare and I will seek all that lights me up.

Just for today,

I surrender fully and completely to the divine wisdom.

Just for today,

I surrender fully and completely to the unknown.

Just for today,

I am so grateful to be me.

And with that,

We will close this meditation with three deep breaths,

Holding at the top again.

Breathing in through the nose,

Hold at the top,

And release with a beautiful sigh through the mouth.

Again,

In through the nose,

Hold at the top,

And release with a beautiful sigh through the mouth.

Again,

In through the nose,

Taking the deepest breath you've taken all day,

Holding at the top,

And releasing with a heavy sigh.

You can go ahead and blink your eyes open,

And I thank you from the bottom of my heart for joining me for this meditation.
