This meditation will leave you feeling calm and grounded. It assists you in zooming out and gaining a larger perspective of your human experience with compassion. It breaks down our being into two parts: the personality and the soul. From there, we observe our personality or human experience from the perspective of a loving witness connected to clarity and understanding. Hello,

And thank you so much for joining me for this transpersonal meditation.

This meditation is going to leave you feeling calm and grounded,

And I really appreciate you taking the time out of your day to meditate with me.

To begin this meditation,

I invite you to get cozy,

Whether that's lying down,

Seated upright,

Find yourself in a position that feels comfortable for you.

And as you settle in,

I invite you to,

With your eyes open and a soft gaze,

Take a nice deep breath in through the nose,

And then release out through the mouth.

Now,

Gently close your eyes,

And again,

Take a nice deep breath in through the nose,

And out through the mouth.

As you settle in here,

Pay attention to your body.

Are there any parts of your body that you can maybe relax just a little bit more?

Whether it's your shoulders,

Your jaw,

Uncrossing your legs,

Find a way to relax your body just a little bit more.

As you settle into this space,

We are going to play around with the idea that there is more than one part of us.

Play around with the idea that we are bigger than our mind,

We are bigger than our thoughts,

And we are bigger than our emotions.

You can affirm to yourself that I have thoughts,

But I am not my thoughts.

Because I have the ability to observe and interact with my thoughts,

They cannot be the whole of who I am.

I have emotions,

But I am not my emotions.

Because I have the ability to observe and choose towards or away my emotional reactions,

This proves that my emotions cannot be the whole of who I am.

I have a mind,

But I am not my mind.

Because I have the ability to redirect,

Refocus,

And ground my mind,

It cannot be the whole of who I am,

Merely a part of this larger existence.

I am not my mind,

I am not my emotions,

I am not my thoughts.

I am the loving observer of my experience.

I am pure awareness,

Will,

And ever-flowing potential.

Take a deep breath into that,

Breathing in through the nose,

And out through the mouth.

Now,

I want you to imagine your being,

Your essence,

Split into two,

Two separate parts of you.

These separate parts,

One being the personality,

The part of you that's having a very human experience that has the emotions,

Has the thoughts,

Has the mind games,

And the second part being your transpersonal self,

The part of you that exceeds the personality,

That has the ability to observe and witness your experience,

The part of you that is non-judgmental and compassionate towards your experience.

Your personality is the one that holds your to-do lists,

Your responsibilities,

Your worries,

Your plans for the future,

While your transpersonal part just simply observes with love,

With patience,

With groundedness,

And with compassion.

Take a moment to experience what it feels like to observe the personality from this transpersonal witness-like space,

The space that is bigger than the emotions,

The space that is just pure,

Non-judgmental awareness.

This space is able to observe your personalities,

Problems,

And fears,

Almost how you observe a friend or a child's problems and fears.

You have the larger perspective,

And deep down you know that they are creative,

Resourceful,

And whole,

And they're going to be able to figure this out.

Go ahead and practice observing your personality from that space for the next few moments and see how it feels.

The intention here is not to become this transpersonal self.

The intention is to strengthen this part so you can use it as an ally among this human experience.

Strengthen this part so it can be a resource for you when the personality panics and when the personality forgets our biggest truths,

Like the fact that it always ends up being okay.

You are creative,

You find ways to be resourceful,

And you are whole and complete and valuable no matter what.

It's very easy for the personality to forget that.

My personality forgets that,

But as we strengthen this transpersonal part of us,

It becomes a reliable,

Wise resource that we can continually tap into.

You can't do it wrong,

And it's okay if it's difficult for you to access this part of you,

But with practice it will become stronger.

I like to practice it in my personal life by sometimes asking,

When I find myself in a panic,

How does my soul feel about this,

Or is my soul worried about this?

And through that practice,

It doesn't solve my problems,

But it helps me remember that there is a bigger truth than what my experience is at the moment.

So with that,

We will go ahead and close this meditation.

Breathing deeply in through the nose,

All the way into the belly.

Breathing out through the mouth,

Again breathing in through the nose,

All the way into the belly,

And out through the mouth.

You can gently begin to come back into your body by wiggling your toes,

Spreading out your fingers,

Maybe taking a big stretch,

And coming back into your space.

Thank you so much for your trust and your time,

And I really appreciate you taking this time out of your day to meditate with me.

Until next time,

Take care.
