Good morning,

Friends.

My name is Courtney,

Also known as Self Care Creature.

This is a meditation for past,

Present,

And future to weave in some gratitude and some grounded manifestation techniques.

Get comfortable,

Have any wiggles out that you need.

Take a couple of deep breaths,

Yawn if you need to,

Have a little stretch,

And then decide are you going to be seated,

Standing,

Or lying down for this meditation?

And find yourself into that position.

Feel your feet,

However,

Wherever they rest.

Notice the sits bones or the hips.

Noticing the arms and the hands.

Take a moment to unlatch the tongue.

Give the jaw a little slack.

Drawing in a couple of deep breaths.

I wonder if it's possible to expand in the belly with an inhale and through your exhale,

Allow the belly to come towards the spine.

Now,

This is a meditation that works no matter where you are at in your journey.

It's a meditation that I have been practicing for many years,

Even when I wasn't in the place that I am now.

So I encourage you to lean back and breathe and feel into this.

As always,

Take what resonates for you,

Leave the rest,

And if there is something that comes up that just does not jive with you,

I invite you to take that pen to paper,

Journal about it,

And dig a little deeper.

Figure out what is there for you.

Okay,

Take a few deep breaths here,

My friend.

As you breathe here,

I want you to bring to mind who you used to be.

See that past version of yourself with all of their worries and their struggles and the grasping,

The trying to figure it out,

Not knowing what to do,

Just showing up,

Just living in the motions.

Where did you live?

Who were you friends with?

What were your daily routines?

Can you bring this to mind with as little judgment as possible?

The practice of accepting,

Seeing,

Understanding all different versions of ourselves.

Breathing into this space.

Look at that person you used to be.

Can you feel a little awe towards this person who didn't necessarily know but they brought you to where you are today?

I wonder if you can breathe into your heart here.

Breathe into the belly,

Feeling the belly,

Ribs,

And heart space expand with a deep inhale.

Ah,

And slowly bringing to mind where you are right now.

Feel yourself seated or wherever you are in this exact moment and look around at your life.

Look around at where you're living.

Look around at who you know,

What you're doing in your every day.

And can you feel some appreciation for how you figured it out from the past that brought you here?

And just feel that connection for a moment between you right here,

Right now,

And all the past versions of you that have led you to this place.

I wonder if it's possible to breathe into gratitude there.

Breathe into the heart.

Feel into that.

Perhaps even saying thank you or we made it or here we are.

And then slowly turning towards the future.

Knowing that you may have hopes,

Dreams,

Aspirations,

Goals,

And you may not know exactly how you're going to get there.

But can you know that you are figuring it out,

That you do have the tools and resources,

That you continue to gather and support yourself?

And I wonder if there is any excitement that can come from breathing into your future self.

Excitement for great mystery of the future.

The great mystery of our human experience.

And learning how to not just trust the unknown,

But that you are learning to trust yourself.

And you can learn to trust yourself to live a fulfilled,

Empowered,

Conscious way of being because you've done it in the past.

You're doing it now.

It's sure to come in the future.

And breathe here.

Of course,

It comes with the entire spectrum of the human experience.

There will be joys and sorrows in the future,

Just as there have been joys and sorrows in the past.

And you,

My friend,

Will be able to navigate it.

And you will continue to gather the tools and the support to be able to navigate it differently,

And perhaps betterly,

Betterly than before,

Better than before.

Taking a few more deep breaths here.

Coming back to present you here and now,

Perhaps gently finding some movement in the fingers and toes or even some light touch for your own body,

A gentle touch or squeeze of the arms,

Legs.

This is it.

You're doing it.

You're living your life one step at a time,

One foot in front of the other.

You just have to believe in yourself and know that you are capable.

I invite you here gently to place a hand on your heart and repeat that to yourself in the first person.

I believe in myself and I am capable.

Wishing you all the best out there.

Take care.
