Hey everybody,
Welcome back to another episode.
I wanted to talk to you guys about the various illusions that we think are truths in our daily lives.
And I hope you can hear me,
I hope the audio is okay.
So the first illusion that I would like to touch on is the illusion of success.
People think that success is amassing a certain amount of wealth or fame,
Notoriety,
Beauty,
Health.
But in reality,
In actuality,
Success is living a life that is in which you're happy.
That's the true definition of success.
And that's why you'll see famous people talk about,
You know,
Wealth isn't everything,
Fame isn't everything.
And they mean it because you cannot buy happiness,
You cannot shop for it.
It is a frequency that you tune in within yourself.
The best work that you're ever going to do is on yourself and you're the only one that has the capacity to do it and it's free.
And when you do it,
That is how you attain happiness or bliss,
Right?
Sat,
Chit,
Anand.
There is only within.
That's the path.
And like,
This is not philosophical,
This is not metaphorical,
This is not profound.
This is English and I'm just speaking to you.
And this is just the truth.
So people need to know this because the faster they get it,
The faster they'll be able to bring it about for themselves or manifest it for themselves.
Manifestation is a term that has such an over-exaggerated meaning in today's,
You know,
New age discussions online primarily.
To manifest just means to bring about,
To conjure,
To alchemize.
It's what you do when you make breakfast.
If you're making a sandwich,
You've manifested a sandwich,
You have birthed a sandwich,
Right?
So like,
This whole concept of needing to manifest like a new car,
It's not difficult.
Or needing to manifest a new whatever.
If you align yourself with the frequency of what you want and if you become what you want,
You will have what you want.
The key is to not want anything.
Desire leads to destruction.
You cannot desire anything.
And we have so many desires,
Like,
Right?
Like,
I want to be this,
I want to be that.
Then be it now,
Feel it now.
Baba Ram Das has that book,
Be Here Now,
Right?
So it's the same thing.
If you want anything,
You have to become it on a vibrational level.
You have to visualize that you are already with it.
But yes,
Success is one of those things that is really illusory.
People think success is a far out dream or it's out of their reach.
Success is what happens when you go within and you realize that you've already had everything that you need.
That's what success is.
Another illusion is time.
People think that past and future are relevant in some way to them.
They don't exist.
The past and the future does not exist.
They're both figment.
Again,
The faster people will get this,
The faster they will realize the importance of the present moment and the faster they will realize that they must tune into the present moment to experience their own magic.
Everything starts with a single point.
If you want to sketch something out on a sketchbook,
You start from a single point.
If you want to grow an Instagram account,
You start from zero followers.
If you want to give birth or have a child,
You start from the process of conception.
And in the beginning,
A human being is just a cluster of molecules,
Right?
On a cellular level.
So in the same way,
Everything starts with a single point.
There is no difficulty with creation.
We just put such an emphasis on needing things that we stay in that vibrational frequency of need instead of staying in a vibrational frequency of having or of abundance or of love because guess what?
The highest frequency that there is is unconditional love.
And that is what abundance is.
God is the most abundant being in the universe,
In all the multiverses.
And from Him springs all things,
Right?
Krishna says in the Gita,
Everything is but a spark of my splendor.
So keep that in mind that you're also a spark of God's splendor.
But also everything you want is a spark of His splendor.
And this is the key,
Guys,
To having or being things that you want,
Okay?
It's to be grateful for what you have been given now,
For what God has given you now.
Because when you're grateful,
You are in the frequency of gratitude.
Everything is frequency.
Everything.
If you tune a certain machine,
I forgot the name of the machine,
But if you tune a certain machine to like a plant,
Like a flower or a tumbleweed or what have you,
You'll hear different resonant frequencies.
This is all over TikTok.
You can look it up.
I forgot the name.
I don't even know the name of the machine.
But I saw it and they were clipping a wire to a flower,
To a flower stem.
And then it started singing and I was like,
Oh my God,
This is crazy.
And then I was like,
It's probably just the machine.
It's not the flower,
Right?
But in actuality,
Everything has a hum.
This is the universal hum.
And you can tap into it when you sit in stillness,
When you learn how to be here now,
When you learn how to go within via practices of meditation,
When you recite om,
And you realize that that vibrational sound that you feel between your lips,
Om,
Right?
That is the constant vibration that all of the universe has and holds,
Because the universe itself is creation.
It is creation and it is creating itself over and over and over again.
This is the nature of Brahma.
This is what Brahma's job is to do.
This is why when people just have so many backwards interpretations of religion,
Monotheism,
Polytheism,
Hey,
Guess what?
There are different energies for everything.
Open your mind,
Right?
And understand that religion has been dogmatized on purpose to keep you unattracted to it,
To keep you from learning about the truth about it.
There are many different religions.
Why is that the case,
Do you think?
Well,
Obviously to confuse people,
Right?
But people on their own,
We don't come into this world being confused or being late for our 9 to 5 or having a coffee addiction.
We're not born with all that stuff.
We develop it.
So the environment builds the attitude of the individual.
So it's up to you to govern your own attitudes.
Do you see what I'm saying?
It's up to you to govern your own responses to your environment.
That's why health is a byproduct of the environment that is around you,
But also the environment that is around you dictates your health.
It's a symbiotic exchange.
And so,
Like I said previously just a few moments ago,
Everything is frequency,
Right?
So if you are not in a state of aligning with your environment,
You're going to resist your environment in some way,
And that leads to health issues.
And your environment also means your body,
By the way.
When we resist ourselves,
We're not on our own sides.
And so do you think we can progress in terms of spiritual evolution?
Do you think the soul will find comfort in this material incarnation?
No,
It won't.
It'll be suffering,
Right?
This is how mental illness comes about as well.
Another illusion that I would like to touch on since we're on the topic of illusions is mental illness.
People have perpetuated all over the world now,
Starting with America,
But the globe has perpetuated these notions that if you're mentally ill,
You have a chemical imbalance.
Yes,
Obviously,
But something is contributing to that chemical imbalance,
Don't you think?
It doesn't just come from nowhere.
You're not born with depression.
Babies are not depressed.
Their environment molds them to be.
So again,
The environment dictates the condition of the human being,
Of the individual.
If you have a chemical imbalance,
It is a symptom of a greater issue.
It is not the root of the problem.
It is just a symptom.
So when you take medication to balance out the chemical imbalance in your brain,
You are treating the symptom,
Not the cause.
Do you see what I'm saying?
You're not treating the root of the issue.
What do you think that's going to do to you?
Number one,
That's going to keep you dependent on something that you think is helping you,
But it's actually not.
Number two,
It's going to lead to a plethora of side effects that you're going to have to experience and wonder why you're feeling even more messed up.
You're not messed up.
You've been made to think you're messed up.
You're not.
You're fine.
People need to know this.
You are healthy.
You are wealthy.
You are creative.
You are amazing.
You have been made to think that you are a victim,
And that is the worst thing an institution can do to a human being or a system,
A governmental system can do to a person is to make them think that they're not well.
Then they won't be well,
Right?
If you speak thoughts unwell of illness to yourself,
You're not going to be well,
Right?
So how you feel dictates how you feel.
You see what I'm saying?
So you're dependent now on this medication,
And you think that,
Oh,
You're so messed up.
You have all these side effects and blah,
Blah,
Blah.
Then you just live with that self-image.
You live with that self-image of,
Oh,
No,
I'm really screwed up.
No,
You're not.
You just need to realize that you're the only one in control.
You're the only person that can get your health back.
You're the only one who has authority over yourself.
No one else has authority over you or your mind.
So let's say I was in that position.
What I would do is I would immediately cut medication.
I would see how I feel.
I probably won't feel very well.
So then I'll start getting on my own side now and I'll look for things that can help make me feel better.
Right.
I'll have an ample amount of movement and sunlight and water,
And I'll go back to my roots,
Literally.
I'll start adopting natural ways of living and being and thinking because you can never go wrong with nature.
Nature has created you.
You have carbon in your fingernails,
The same carbon that is present throughout the entire galaxies and different planets and what have you.
You are made of the elements.
Right.
In Ayurveda,
We say that the body digests food with a digestive fire.
Right.
Gosh,
What's it called?
I forgot the name.
I can't believe I forgot the name.
I studied this so much.
It's not prana.
Prana is life force.
That's why breath work is so important.
So you can circulate the prana.
Right.
But in Ayurveda,
We say that the digestive fire is the cause for digesting all food and for disintegrating and absorbing all the nutrients and food.
Right.
So,
So Agni.
No,
That's just fire.
I have to look it up.
But so in the same way,
We can see how our digestive system mimics the natural process of how fire can affect,
You know,
Matter via the process of combustion.
Certain elements are released and the process has been completed.
Right.
So we mimic nature.
And this is so important for people to know so they can understand that a lot of things that we do is very unnatural.
So,
Of course,
We're not going to feel well.
Of course,
We're going to have chemical imbalances because we're not giving ourselves what we need.
Right.
We're we're giving ourselves a lot of things that are over processed and inherently synthetic.
And that can't be good for anybody.
Another thing,
Another illusion is the illusion of education in school systems worldwide.
Students are not taught how to realize how brilliant they are.
They're not taught how to tap into their own ways of learning.
And they're not taught how to be freely creative.
Instead,
The things that they should be taught are hidden from them.
And kids and students even all over the world are stifled because of this.
And what they're taught how to do is how to memorize and how to obey and sometimes how to get really,
Really good at focusing,
Which I think is the only good thing that comes from a lot of our educational institutions.
But even then,
A lot of kids are on medication in order to focus.
I learned this when I went to college.
I learned that a lot of students take medication to try to focus.
Right.
That's really detrimental,
Again,
Because you are altering your brain chemistry needlessly.
Instead of being interested in the subject you're actually learning about,
You're trying to force yourself to digest information that isn't even suitable for you.
Right.
Again,
Every human being is has come to this world with their own unique set of gifts and interests.
Right.
So if you ask a fish to climb a tree,
The fish is going to look at you and probably die because it's not in the water.
And this is really detrimental.
People's creativity is being killed.
And like a lot of what this world needs,
You know,
It's not getting that.
It's not getting that artistic genius because kids have been stifled in school from a very young age.
When I was in college,
I was with somebody who,
You know,
He was really smart and he was really,
Really sweet and just a really amazing person.
And but he thought that he wasn't because of school.
Right.
He would always say things like,
Oh,
I'm not smart or like,
Oh,
I,
I couldn't do that or there's no way I can do that or.
Right.
So it's what happens is a lot of self-doubt begins to creep,
But it becomes a part of the person's own self image.
That's so detrimental because then they're blocking themselves subconsciously from learning about things that they potentially could be really,
Really interested in and could potentially be really,
Really good at and could potentially change the world with how good at it that they are.
Right.
But they don't even allow themselves to get to that point of exploring new areas of study or new ways to do things or new series of information,
Because they have this self image that,
Oh,
No,
I could never do that.
Like,
I'm not good enough.
I'm not smart enough.
Right.
And that is so debilitating and damaging to the spirit.
A lot of people's spirit has been stifled to the point of near death.
To kill the spirit is.
It's murder in a way,
And this is why,
You know,
I have learned over the course of my life that the most important thing that you must do is preserve your spirit.
You must be like a child.
You must make it a point to feel good every day.
You must connect with nature every day.
You must move every day.
Right.
Because I came to a point in my life where it was like either I need medication or I'm going to,
You know,
I'm not going to be here anymore.
It was really bad.
I was very,
Very depressed.
And and everyone tried to get me to go on medication.
My parents tried every.
Well,
Yeah,
My parents,
My mom tried everything to get me to go on antidepressants because I was I was very depressed.
And what I needed was God.
Like,
I had so many questions.
Right.
And so,
You know,
I would like go out with friends and this and that.
And I was like addicted to to having fun and escapism.
And it was really amazing.
It was a lot of fun.
And I was able to find God in blowing off steam,
Literally.
Right.
That's how I came to Krishna through partying.
You know,
As crazy as that sounds in a way.
Right.
In a way,
Not partying,
Partying,
But like I needed to know.
Right.
The truth.
So I would ask questions and I would go within.
And not everybody comes to God like that.
But I do think that everybody comes to God out of pain.
You have to get uncomfortable enough with your situation such that you realize that you are the answer that you have been looking for.
Capital Y.
Y O U.
Capital Y.
God is within you.
Right.
So you cannot find God in someone else's depiction or right unless you study scripture.
So that's another illusion.
The illusion of dogmatism.
The illusion that if you go to church or temple all the time and you do this service and that service,
Like you're going to attain the most supreme highest position.
No,
Like literally no,
Like that's BS.
And it's stupidity because everyone comes here on Earth again with their own unique gifts,
Their own karma.
Right.
Their own their own karma yoga.
Right.
Their own need to live out what their soul has desire to do.
Coming here into this physical form.
Right.
So that's why in Vedic tradition,
In Vedic culture,
You have the the Vaishas and the Sudras.
I mean,
There's a place for everybody.
So nobody is left out and nobody is is doing a task that they're not meant to do.
And it should be the same way in our in our society.
But our society is so ass backwards that that it's not and it won't be.
And I'm staring at a cow right now.
I am staring face to face with a cow that is chomping grass.
