I've been wanting to do this one for a while and I'm really excited that you're here,

We're here together,

Embarking on this journey and doing this big work together within our bodies.

Because as we know,

When we take some time to give our bodies the healing,

The clearing that it needs,

It ripples out into our outside world.

So my intention for this meditation is that over time,

And you will need to come back to this again and again,

That over time you will notice the weight starting to lift off of you energetically,

Spiritually,

Emotionally,

But also physically.

Because if you've arrived here today,

The energetic,

Emotional,

And spiritual weight has started to manifest physically on your body and you're aware that calorie deficits,

Even hormonal balancing,

Exercising,

Running,

Strength training,

That they're not going to take care of this on their own.

So hopefully with some time and repeated visits to this meditation,

You will see results.

So I'm going to invite you to take a nice comfortable seat or lie down.

In fact,

This will be best done lying down,

Perhaps before bed or in the morning when you're waking,

Or if you can take a little nap or break time in the middle of the day.

I've designed this particular meditation for you to do when you're in your most relaxed state.

So go ahead and get cozy,

Lie your body out,

Have a blanket ready just in case you get a little chilly.

Because sometimes when we go really deep into our meditations and journeys,

Our body temperatures can drop.

So make sure you're comfortable and we'll begin.

Go ahead and take a really nice big cleansing,

Clearing,

And grounding breath,

Breathing big into your body.

We'll take an in breath through the nostrils and an out breath through the mouth.

And as we're tuning in,

Just taking a moment to thank yourself for showing up here to take these few minutes of time just for you to dedicate to yourself,

Your emotional self,

Your spiritual self,

Your energetic self,

And your physical self.

These check-ins,

These intention-setting sessions,

They are so powerful.

On your next big in breath,

I want you to go ahead and set your intention for today.

Exhaling it out.

Just kind of say it in your mind or out loud,

I'm ready to let go of this weight.

Nice big,

Big breath in through the nose,

Out of the mouth.

And again,

I am ready to let go of this weight.

This is our intention for today.

Your weight is going to change every day.

I want you to be aware of that.

And it may look physically the same every day on your body if you've begun to notice that accumulation of weight through what looks like fat deposits in your body.

And as we move through this,

I want you to be aware that every day those deposits are different manifestations that have accumulated over time.

And that may be hard to believe or not for you,

But today we're going to hold on to that awareness as we work to clear day by day these manifestations of weight that you have been carrying.

So today I want you to check in with yourself,

And it might be different than yesterday,

And ask yourself,

What weight am I carrying today?

As you're doing it,

I want you to go ahead and from the top of the crown,

Down through the body,

Go ahead and scan as if you had a type of laser scanner that you could see through your entire body.

And you're just scanning that weight,

That excess fat deposits all over your body.

And you're just inquiring with curiosity and no judgment.

What weight am I carrying today?

Some of it might be the weight from yesterday.

Some of it might be weight from 10 years ago,

Five years ago,

18 years ago.

And the question still remains,

Scanning through your body,

Taking a nice big breath,

Free of judgment,

No anger towards anyone in particular right now.

What weight am I carrying today?

Now once you've begun to listen to your body,

Just allow for that to float right up into your awareness,

The weight that you're carrying on your body today.

Now you might hear several things,

Especially if this is your first time coming to this meditation.

It might be emotions.

It might be anger.

It might be frustration.

It might be tasks oriented.

You might be carrying way too much of a load as a lot of us tend to do in today's time.

So check in with yourself if that's what it is,

Because today's work might be to release some of that mental load,

Some of the tasks that you're holding that are a bit too much for your body to handle.

Breathing deeply,

Listening.

If there's any other weight that you're carrying today that your body wants to bring to your awareness,

And I want you to go ahead and imagine saying thank you to your body for bringing this to your attention.

Thank you.

Thank you,

Dear beloved body,

For letting me know what you're carrying.

I imagine even telling my body right now,

I know that that's a lot and I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

And if you know me,

You know that I'm really big on the ho'oponopono Hawaiian mantra.

And so now we take and we say this beautiful mantra to our bodies,

To the fat deposits and the weight that we're carrying.

I'm sorry.

Forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

Now I want you to imagine saying that to the actual fat deposits on your body.

Chances are,

If you've noticed them,

That you've probably felt sensations of shame around them,

Maybe even disgust,

Sadness.

So whatever negative emotions you felt towards those fat deposits and that excess weight on your body,

We're going to go ahead and we're just going to say to the body and the fat on the body,

I'm sorry for the way I've viewed you.

Forgive me.

Thank you for holding all that you've held so far.

I love you.

And I add in now this piece,

I now release you.

So I want you to go ahead and you're going to repeat after me now,

And you can whisper this or state it in your mind.

And we're just really tuning into the fat deposits,

The weight on our body that we're carrying.

And remember,

We're coming back and we're slowly releasing this excess weight and excess fat day by day,

Gently,

And you will see it go.

So tuning into it,

Maybe you feel a targeted area right now,

Just tuning into it.

Maybe looking at it or feeling it or placing your hands over that region if you feel called to.

You're going to repeat after me.

I'm sorry I've felt ashamed of you.

Forgive me for anything harmful,

Painful,

Hurtful that I might have thought or said in your regard.

Thank you for carrying all that you've carried thus far.

I love you and I now give you permission to release.

Taking a nice big breath in and I want you to start to visualize that excess weight,

Those fatty deposits just slowly moving under your attention,

Under your love,

Under your embrace,

Your touch.

Just feel those fatty deposits moving,

Kind of like they're gurgling.

Maybe if you're an auditory person,

You even imagine you could hear them kind of rustling or moving or gurgling beneath you.

You start to feel them gently,

One by one,

Clearing themselves,

Cell by cell.

You feel those deposits just gently dissolving.

For you,

It might feel like they're melting,

Changing form.

And I want you to imagine that today when you leave this meditation,

That every time you drink your water,

They go to release from the body,

Those fluids,

That that excess fat,

Excess weight is leaving your body through those fluids.

Whether it's sweat,

Potty breaks,

Tears,

It's leaving and giving it permission to go.

And with that,

I'm going to leave you.

I am wishing you to feel lighter today,

To feel the release of this excess weight,

This excess mental,

Emotional,

Spiritual,

And physical weight that you've been carrying on your body.
