Day Twenty Seven of Lent. This meditation is inspired by 2 Timothy 2:11-12. During this meditation, and for the third & fourth weeks of this series we meditate upon the Call to Endurance. Where do we draw strength from, when we feel weak? How can we learn to have grace for ourselves in those moments? Let this meditation take you deeper in communion with God. And let this series be an edifying part of your Lent practice.

Hey Hearkeners,

Welcome to today's meditation on this 27th day of Lent.

As we enter into meditation,

I invite you to close your eyes.

Notice that by simply closing our eyes,

Our minds naturally get quieter,

Our bodies organically become more relaxed,

Our spirit becomes more still.

Let's enter this meditation with this spirit of stillness.

If we die with Christ,

We will also live with Christ.

If we endure,

We will also reign with Christ.

If we die with Christ,

We will also live with Christ.

If we endure,

We will also reign with Christ.

One thing I've noticed to be commonplace amongst many followers of Christ,

Including myself,

Is sometimes it can seem like everyone wants revival but nobody wants to die.

What I mean by this is that we seem to forget sometimes what it means to be revived.

We have to die to ourselves,

To take up our proverbial cross as it were.

Part of us has to die for us to truly have a revival.

If we die with Christ,

We will also live with Christ.

If we endure,

We will also reign with Christ.

Let that part of us die that needs to die so that we may truly live.

Let that part of us die that needs to die so that we may truly live.

Let us die in Christ so that we may live in Christ.

Let us endure so that we may reign with Christ.

Let that part of us die that needs to die and let us truly live.

Thank you for meditating with me my fellow hearkeners.

May grace and peace,

Light and love,

Be with you.

This track reminded me of when you prune a tree or take off the dead leaves for a plant. The message really resonated about death being a part of renewal. A great reflection to clear space for growth and that which serves us.
