Advent, Day One: Light in the Darkness. (First Sunday of Advent.)

For this first week of Advent, we dwell upon Hope.

This particular meditation is inspired by Isaiah 9:2.

To begin this meditation, I invite you to light the Advent Candle of Hope, Be Still, Adopt an attitude of Gratitude & nonjudgment, & embrace a Spirit of Hope.

Advent to me is a big celebration and preparation for Jesus Christ arrival to all of us, which gives me so much joy, happiness, hope, and peace. 😇

I noticed the beautiful Hymn 423, "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel", in the Swedish Hymnbook with the title: "Kom Jesus, kom Immanuel".
It made me open up my Hymnbook and sing the song out loud. Rejoicing in the beautiful lyrics. 🤗

P.S. About the cover picture that you are using for this Advent series, it looks that it's in watercolor. Is it your own art, or?!
