So taking a moment to find a relaxed yet alert posture.
We'll begin by just settling into the body with a brief body scan.
Starting at the crown of the head.
Just connecting with the feeling.
As we move down through the body,
Relaxing each part.
Coming into contact with muscles around our eyes.
Face into our jaw.
Just letting all come to rest.
Releasing any tension.
Moving into our shoulders.
Feel free to roll your shoulders or pick them up towards your ears and drop them down again.
Releasing tension in the shoulders.
Moving down into our arms and chest.
Releasing any tension that may be built up there.
Not fighting any tightness,
But just letting it be.
From here,
Moving down into the abdomen and stomach.
Moving down into our hips,
Sit bones,
Legs,
Knees.
Finally into our calves and feet.
Just spending a moment being with the sensation of the feet as they touch the ground and floor beneath you.
From here,
We'll begin by just opening up and feeling the nature of the body.
Being with the sensation of sitting on the chair or cushion beneath you.
Sensation of your feet as they touch the earth below.
Just offering some space to relax any tension and thoughts.
So here coming into an experience of the body and the energy of the body as it is.
Just meeting that with our awareness.
So here we can feel the natural flow of sensations,
Energy,
Emotions,
And other feelings throughout the body.
Just gently letting go of any tightness and tension.
Just relax and let be.
So not focusing too tightly or too loosely.
Just being present in a relaxed manner.
Allowing the awareness and presence to connect with the body without pushing.
No rush.
Just remaining in a very relaxed,
Loose presence.
After allowing your awareness and body to settle in this way,
Just stay with this until there's a sense of joyful calm within the body.
And then go ahead and move into your next practice.
