To begin this practice,
Imagine a protective white light surrounding you.
Feel your sit bones on the earth underneath you.
Respect in your spine.
A lift and swell of your heart.
Illuminate your breath from within.
What is a lie?
An inauthentic truth.
It feels hollow.
A veiled storyline,
Wishing to push itself onto me to share my reality.
A veiled guise.
A sense of something not quite right.
When I hear a lie,
A part of me senses the wrongness.
A part of me calls towards the truth.
When I feel an inauthentic truth,
I search for my breath.
Where time slows down,
I slow down my breath and I feel my truth.
The truth of who I am.
I feel my breath widen and explore inside the depths of myself.
Shining a light to be uncovered.
Feel your breath with me in this moment.
Allow it to fill you up.
Excavating buried truth,
Seeking to be unveiled.
What is a truth?
A clear steady light within.
An authenticity radiant and pouring from the heart.
Where does truth live within your body?
Where in your body lives your truth?
Perhaps in your root,
At the base of your spine,
Saying,
I am safe.
Perhaps in your abdomen,
Saying,
I am free.
Perhaps in your heart,
Saying,
I am loved.
How does this contrast with the inauthentic truths,
The lies you tell yourself?
Your ego self narrating a storyline that it wishes to hold on to against your divine nature.
We all have that lie that we tell ourselves and we allow our external world to reflect our inner nature.
What would happen if we were to rewrite the storyline?
When we can sense the lie in our body,
We no longer live in patterns.
Seeking the unavailable,
The echo of our unlovable storyline.
Instead,
We begin living radiant,
Whole,
And enough.
Come back to your breath and discover yourself.
Breathe here into yourself,
Seeking out your breath.
Where time slows down,
Slow down your breath and feel.
What is a lie?
What is a truth?
Where do these live in your body?
Where do you feel an echo inside of yourself when you hear a lie?
Where is the echo when you hear a truth?
Listen deep within,
Knowing it may take time for your inner truths to illuminate.
Knowing the practice is already working just by you showing up.
The more you do this practice,
The more you'll illuminate your inner wisdom and be able to discern the lies and truth you tell yourself and the lies and truths that another may share.
Feel your sit bones on the earth underneath you.
Respect in your spine.
A lift and swell of your heart.
Radiate a protective white light to surround you,
To guard you,
And protect you.
And when you're ready,
Softly open your eyes.
