I met Christy on at in her studio in Kwun Tong. It was looking to be a hot Sunday but the towering buildings of alleyway where the entrance to her building gave a much needed respite. She shares a similar style with her teacher, Sylvia Leung, playing very slow and clear letting the pure tones of the bowls ring out in their entirety. The bowls and her sequences are well matched with little or no modulation, only clean, weighty tones. She likes to ring the ting sha bell during the sessions as a blessing and cleansing. She had a medical condition that inspired her to seek ways that she could heal herself and began attending sound bath sessions. She usually gives 1-on-1 sessions because she likes to understand each person's needs and find a way to help them by what she observed during their sessions. She sees every session as a way to heal herself too. Her intention for this sessions was to encourage the listener to figure out who they are and how to live happily.
