These affirmations wish to help you being more gentle with yourself, to support your soul and body lovingly through the darker months and to find your way out of gloomy moods more quickly. So lovely to have you here.

My name is Kajitana and with these affirmations and thoughts,

I'd love to support you through the dark season.

Imagine these words like a good friend,

A fluffy blanket,

A warming cup of tea,

And a clear sunny day.

Take a deep breath and allow yourself to let go a little,

Just for this moment.

Pause.

A few minutes just for me.

I am a part of nature and nature also slows down in winter.

I allow myself to be even more conscious about my energy during this season.

Because it's completely okay and human to feel less energy in these winter months.

I choose to treat my body and my soul with love every day a little more.

I make sure to give myself a break every now and then.

To give my body and mind some time to recover.

I don't demand too much of myself because my value has nothing to do with how much I perform.

I'm not a machine,

I am a human being.

Every single day I find opportunities,

Beautiful little slots of relaxation,

A coffee with a friend,

A hot bubble bath,

A film night on the cozy sofa.

I take every opportunity to get out in the fresh air during daylight,

Even if it's just ten minutes in my lunch break.

And if it rains I just take the umbrella and I'm so proud of myself afterwards.

I honor my body and nourish it even more because now it needs energy to keep me warm.

Every single day I choose food that gives me strength and energy,

Vitamins and all the nutrients my body needs to keep my immune system strong and my mind clear.

I love the feeling of taking good care of myself and making wise decisions.

What does my body need today?

How can I show it the love and care it deserves?

What does my soul need today?

Laughter and lightness?

Connection to other people?

Or some alone time cocooning?

Do I crave for joy,

Love,

Warmth and touch?

The wonderful feeling of being creative and alive?

Reading an exciting story or listening to music?

Dancing?

Let off some steam with movement?

At any time I allow myself to check in and acknowledge my needs.

At any time I am allowed to check in and acknowledge my needs.

And yes,

Once and for all,

I allow myself to fulfill my needs and take good care of myself.

Because my body and my soul are worthy.

I am worthy.

I am worthy being nourished and cared for.

I can have faith in myself,

In life,

Or in something higher if I believe in it.

Filled up with this trust,

I can let go easily of everything I cannot change or carry at the moment.

And I don't have to.

It is okay for me to do what I can do now and today and be at peace with it.

I alone decide what I want to spend my time,

Energy and attention on and I can make a new decision at any time.

From now on I allow myself to pay attention to which people I feel safe and secure with.

From others I keep some healthy distance.

That's okay.

Before I go to sleep at night,

I make myself comfortable and allow myself to relax.

Maybe I even create a little bedtime ritual that helps me to get a deep and restful sleep.

I am proud of how respectfully I treat myself.

Like something very precious that needs to be protected and cared for.

Because that's exactly what I am.

A precious being.

And I love myself every day a little more.
