Judgment...the main error with it is we are looking to point a finger of blame, instead of looking inside ourselves for the lesson from our reaction. This short talk ends with a daily practice that gives you a tool to change your reactivity and outlook towards others. WARNING: If you want to hold onto playing the blame game, do not walk--run--from this dharma talk. May this reflection and practice point you towards patience, compassion and staying connected to love. Namaste.

I received an email from an e-newsletter I get and this quote was by a man who was a food activist in Los Angeles and he said more people are being killed by drive-ins than by drive-bys In other words this cheap fast food,

You know is killing more people than the outside I thought it was a good lesson besides him checking what we're putting in our mouths to also check what we put in every aspect of our body what we put into our minds what we put into our Environment what we surround ourselves the friends we surround ourselves the colleagues,

You know how much energy we spend that's Helpful and how much that's harmful.

It's so easy to point the finger at others You know whether it's the president or the government or the you know You know polluters or the oil industry whoever you want to point it out You know or your boss or the person who cut you off in traffic or you know,

Whoever there's so many different People to point you don't have enough fingers to point at all the people you want to blame But even if someone cuts you off in traffic if you look at it you go.

Hey,

I'm not physically harmed I got a little shocked for a second and now I'm carrying it,

You know,

And where is the Responsibility going back to what taking self-responsibility of what we put in how we function how our mind runs off in craziness When do we look back at ourselves and go,

You know,

Why you know,

What is why am I so impatient?

Why am I so angry?

Why am I holding on to these things?

You know,

Those are the questions that are gonna help anyone grow much more So an exercise that you can do and this is a daily practice that you have the opportunity opportunity unlimited opportunities because you'll always have it even if you just read something if you read something and you find yourself angry or this Don't look at the a person don't look at the article.

Don't look at the punctuation.

You're not an editor Look at editing yourself and watching first go.

Well,

Why am I so reactive?

Why can't someone have a different opinion of mine?

Even if it's quote unquote wrong without me losing my cool and that's what's you know The yogi the mystic is more interested is in themselves not in the other,

You know We have a very in the New Age world.

It's very much like how do we help the world?

You know,

How do we you know,

And that's very religious,

You know charitable works and we do it start with yourself Because you're messing up the whole world around you with all your impatience your angers your intolerances That's coming from you and how much of a gift that would be more than a sandwich if every time someone Fell a little short.

We had a little more patience and a little more love Bring your hands to the heart center And let's make a commitment this week Everything that frustrates us to look inside about how we are responsible for our own peace of mind Namaste
