So today we did a lot more holding postures and breathing into it a little longer a lot of times We're doing very vinyasa a little more movement and faster and I think they all have benefits You know if I do nothing,
But very slow or held stuff.
I start feeling a little sleepier I want to move my body if I do too much movement stuff.
I feel like okay I'm getting exhausted,
But I'm not really relaxing into anything.
So there's a balance between the two There is I think some quote from the Bible I know the birds to have a song which is like there's a time for everything.
There's a time for war and peace There's a time for this and that so I think it's important for all of us to Explore like our rhythms our patterns and see when do I need a little more?
Holding and when do I need a little more action,
You know,
And sometimes,
You know It's not always what we like because sometimes,
You know,
I like sitting on the couch all day,
You know But that's not gonna be useful for you.
So sometimes,
You know,
I do need to move my body more So it's not just you know Oh This is how I feel because that's not like honestly touching deeper inside to go What do I need and we know if you're working all day sitting down like,
You know Your body just is craving like I gotta move.
I'm feeling rusty,
You know,
So that's like more obvious But it's really cool to see your you know Tap in so many of us are on a schedule that we eat at this time that we sleep at this time But sometimes we're not gonna be hungry at that time But we're so used to it that our body like the Pavlovian dog just starts drooling a little bit more like alright I'll eat I've been upset and it's not a good time to eat either It's gonna affect your digestion and your body will actually shut down a bit,
But it's dinner time the foods there,
You know So we're not always listening bathroom habits,
You know,
You have a business meeting and then you have to go have a bowel movement So you're gonna hold on to it everyone is you know,
That's not listening to how the body works,
You know So so,
You know one of our things and this is the old yogic like going inside,
You know is Really getting in touch with not just what your thoughts think or what sort of what like what I like and what I don't like But really what is you know,
What is true and what is our natural rhythms and living closer to that?
