Coming to you from the beautiful Satsang house.
Settle in for a 20-25 minute meditation to begin your day.
And perhaps you can hear the birds in the background.
Go ahead and settle in and close your eyes.
Allow your body to just sink in.
Take a few deep breaths.
Maybe even feel the weight of your body starting to relax into wherever you're seated.
Take a few deep breaths.
Fill up your lungs all the way to the very top of your inhale.
Hold it at the top for 4,
3,
2,
1.
And release all the air out of your lungs to the very bottom of your exhale.
Hold it there for 4,
3,
2,
1.
Exhale again all the way to the top and hold it for 4,
3,
2,
1.
And release all the air to the bottom of your lungs.
Hold it at the bottom for 4,
3,
2,
1.
And release and all the way back up to the top and hold it for 4,
3,
2,
1.
And release.
Holding it at the bottom for 4,
3,
2,
1.
And release.
We're going to start by asking ourselves four soul questions.
The questions are designed to just have you ask them and allow them to float into the universe.
Let the universe handle all the details.
The most important part of this is for you to stay in the inquiry.
Stay in the question.
Not worry about the answer.
The answer will show up whenever you're ready.
Who am I?
Who am I?
What do I want?
What do I really,
Really want?
Could be in the form of something spiritual,
Emotional,
Financial,
Physical.
What do I want?
How am I best suited to use my gifts and talents to serve humanity?
What's my purpose?
What is my purpose?
What am I grateful for?
What am I grateful for?
And letting go,
We'll begin by repeating the mantra,
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
Remembering that the mantra is gentle and relaxed.
There's no need to force or concentrate on it.
It doesn't need to line up to your breathing.
It doesn't have any particular rhythm or cadence.
So hum.
When you find yourself distracted by noises in the environment or thoughts that come through your head,
That's okay.
Just gently guide yourself back to repeating the mantra,
So hum.
That is the practice.
Noticing when your mind has drifted off and bringing yourself back to the present moment,
Using the mantra over and over again.
So hum.
You may find that the mantra shifts or changes over the course of our meditation,
And that's okay.
It may seem like you're hearing it as opposed to saying it.
So hum.
No need to worry about the time.
When you hear the sound of the chime,
Just sit quietly with your eyes closed,
And I'll guide you out.
Enjoy.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Gently release the mantra.
Sit quietly with your eyes closed.
Just rest.
Resting in goodness.
Resting in existence.
Resting in being.
We're going to silently plant the seeds of our intentions for living.
Just repeat these silently after I say them.
Joyful,
Energetic body.
Loving,
Compassionate heart.
Reflective,
Alert mind.
Lightness of being.
Slowly start to deepen your breath.
And we're going to seal our meditation with universal sound vibration of OM.
Take a breath in and release it with OM.
OM.
And whenever you feel comfortable,
Gently float your eyes open and return to the room.
Namaste.
