Good morning,

Welcome to another beautiful day.

In the words of Rumi,

The morning wind spreads its fresh smell.

We must get up and take that in,

That wind that lets us live.

Breathe before it's gone.

So we'll begin with three deep breaths,

Becoming more comfortable with each inhale,

More relaxed with each exhale.

Finding the space in between each word.

Finding space between each thought.

As we valley through.

Expressing gratitude for this moment at the start of your day.

Just saying to yourself,

Thank you,

I am grateful.

Now beginning to deepen the breath,

Clearing out any residue from the day before.

Breathing in to the full capacity of the lungs.

Then exhaling completely.

Holding at the bottom of the exhalation until the body intuitively calls in fresh prana.

Life energy.

Inhaling gently,

Slowly.

Expanding into the space around you.

Now imagining your best self.

Imagining the most confident version of you.

What would the most confident version of you be thinking?

Perhaps the thoughts would be filled with self praise.

Feeling into any words of encouragement that come into mind.

Expanding awareness on these thoughts of self love and confidence.

Feeling into the most confident version of yourself.

Now beginning to smile.

Increasing serotonin and dopamine in the brain naturally.

Signaling to the body that we are safe.

And that we are ready to start.

The most positive day.

Namaste my friend.

I’m obsessed with this. It’s short enough to fit right in my day with little effort, but succinct and to the point. It’s easy to follow and it’s simplicity really helps you especially if you’re a meditation newbie and have trouble quieting your thoughts. I found myself able to focus better on the guidance and it left a little bit of room for me to think on a few of the mantras I’ve been incorporating into my routines as well. I have an audition today and I woke up really jittery and struggling with nerves and this was a God send. 🙏🏻

I was hesitant to try this meditation because she is much younger than me and I often find it difficult to connect with young teachers, bit this was really terrific. Highly recommended.
