Let's explore the part of doing,

The being,

Doing,

Having.

Now,

To start off with,

Doing has nothing to do with what you do for a living or your measurement of success or worth.

So let's throw that out of the space and know that we're talking about action,

And that action can take the form of inaction as well.

For example,

You're writing a list or you're externalising all the thoughts that are going around in your head,

Which is a great idea.

And then maybe you put beside them what's urgent and what's important.

And maybe some of them are doubling up and maybe some are important,

But they're not urgent.

That could be one way of classifying something so you know where's my absolute priority of where my action needs to go.

Or you might be looking at it from a different space of,

Okay,

Which one can I do really quickly?

Okay.

And then you're building momentum.

So you can start crossing things off the list and the momentum flows.

Or you could look at it like,

What really excites me right now and which one intuitively do I feel called to do?

Which actually I would encourage you to cultivate.

Because then we're operating outside of linear perspective,

Where we're not attached to the how,

The when,

And the who.

We're expanding where support can come from,

Or how things can be all pulled together in ways that are beyond what we could actually imagine.

So tuning in,

It can be taking a few breaths.

Which one feels exciting?

Or what feels exciting for me to do right now?

What's the next step for me?

And then waiting and being okay with what that is.

You know,

It might be go and do 10 star jumps and have a break.

It might be call somebody.

It might be send 10 emails to ask people about something.

It might be go and pick some flowers.

So throwing the,

Not throwing the logical mind out the window,

But balancing the mind because the mind is a tool of the soul.

And if we utilise our mind and our higher faculties,

Then we've got a lot more to draw upon in how we function and perceive,

Because then we're working on multiple levels.

And we can definitely do that in very grounded ways.

So just being aware of where am I doing from?

And is that working for me?

Is it matching up with my beingness?

Or am I doing from the space of,

Oh,

I have to get this done,

Really stressed,

Feeling confused,

Which happens,

Right?

That's when if we catch ourselves,

We have an opportunity to just pause and come back to,

Okay,

What's it going to take to get me back into my beingness?

What state of being do I want to be in?

And then getting yourself in that groove or knowing,

Hey,

Right now I need,

I just need to have a break.

And that's the best thing that you can do for your wellbeing and for your beingness,

Because there's no point in pushing uphill,

You know,

Flying with an aeroplane with the tailwind or the headwind.

Which way to direction do we want to be flowing,

Upstream or downstream?

So that's where we link in,

Is my beingness matching my doingness right now?

Is it working for me or not?

You're welcome to close your eyes or journal with this process or do both and tap into the place I want to act from is.

.

.

The energy I want to embody right now is.

.

.

The thing I'm really struggling to do at the moment is.

.

.

How could I bring a new state of being into this?

Maybe if it feels like real struggle,

Reaching out to someone asking for accountability or help or support.

What is my relationship with time and how I spend my time or what I pay attention to?

How can I integrate and put into practice or synthesize the wisdom that I am receiving from myself today?

Feel free to pause the recording to review that and to take stock of it.

And just an invitation to observe in your activities or in your motivations behind taking certain actions,

Which state of being you're in and considering whether you're in a resistant space,

A reactive space or a flowing space,

Whether you're in coherence and what kind of outcomes or feelings or ways of being or ways of relating to yourself and others come out of that.

So if you can take time to track that or to observe it,

To try on the possibility that sometimes spending more time on something doesn't always equal better outcomes.

So if you're in a flow state,

You could get something done in 15 minutes that if you were in a resistant,

Tired,

Grumpy state may have taken five hours.

So in practicing deeper awareness of the self and our relationship to the world outside of us,

As well as our own rhythms and cycles,

We can better cultivate and connect this being and doing and make our doing align with what we want to create and the kind of way we want to show up.

One more thing before we go today is that it's OK to say no.

No,

Next opportunity.

Or when we say no to something,

We're potentially saying yes to something else.

And when we say no to something,

We're saying no to something else.

And that no could be no to extra workload.

It could be no to having a late night.

You know,

There's all different flavours or reasons or motivations to say no.

But it's also what our relationship is with that and with what the meaning that we place on it is.

So what's the meaning you make out of saying no?

And from doing that,

There's more space to have fully aligned and resonant yeses.

So that's our exploration of the doing aspect today.

And stay tuned.

There will be a part three in having.
