Hi everybody,

Welcome to the session today.

Welcome.

My name is Sarah Evans.

Here is my lovely sanctuary space yoga studio in sunny Sheffield in Northern England,

UK.

Today I'm going to be offering you a healing journey,

Taking you through what came to me as grounding through change.

And that kind of sounds,

At first glance,

That kind of sounded like it doesn't make sense.

Like how can you be grounding and you're also going through change?

But it's all about being flexible and adaptable despite things happening,

Whether it's in you,

Around you,

In the wider world.

There's a lot of change and things happening.

So this is here to really support you and nourish you through all of what may be going on.

And we're going to be doing that with the energy of water.

Okay,

So please get as comfortable as possible.

If you need to loosen any items of clothing,

Feel free to do so.

I've been told that just embody the sense of water as much as possible.

So for you,

That means reclining flat on a mat or on the bed,

Then please feel free to do so.

If you prefer to be seated,

That is fine too.

But let's get really nice and cosy and comfy.

Before we close our eyes and begin,

I want you to just have a quick moment with your water.

Okay,

So we have a glass of water with you.

I know this might sound a little bit nuts,

But water is very wise.

Okay,

And I want you to have that intention that your water is going to support you and offer you anything that you need to know today.

And we could have a certain intention as well for the Reiki energy to be infused into your water.

And you can then drink all of that at the end of the session and really amplify the healing.

I love talking with water.

It isn't a coincidence that most people have really amazing insights when they're in the shower or in the bath or something like that,

Right?

Obviously,

I'm a Pisces rising,

So you know,

That's where I'm coming from with this.

But there's so much wisdom in water and so much support in water as well.

Okay,

Enough of me having crazy talk.

So please get nice and comfortable.

Taking a read of how you feel right now,

What you're bringing into the session today,

Without judgment.

Let's say you're here now to have some beautiful rest,

Some time for you.

So that's really just invite in as much rest and calm into the body.

As you connect the breath,

I actually encourage you,

If you know how to do so,

You can try you're doing a Ujjayi or oceanic breath,

Which is basically a breath where you're tensing the throat ever so slightly,

And you can actually hear the breath coming and going.

Some people call it the ocean breath,

The victorious breath,

There's many different terms.

If you want to make your breathing sound a little bit louder than it usually would,

You'd have to do this for the whole hour.

Making your breath sound like waves coming in and flowing out.

Imagine that you're breathing in through the soles of your feet and there's a flow of energy flowing all the way up your body out of the crown of your head.

On an exhale it's flowing all the way down,

So like you're lying in front of a water source and the waves are coming up gently,

Washing over you,

Washing away.

And with every exhale,

Just enjoy yourself getting more and more calm and relaxed,

And more and more embodying the sense of water.

Water's all around us.

The planet we live on is majority water,

And the body you're in is majority water,

60 to 70 percent.

So we can engage with that sense of water in the physical body for a moment,

We can do that by connecting with our heart.

So the heart is pumping,

That blood is pumping,

And we're at water,

Fluid,

All around your body.

So just taking a moment to connect to your pulse,

To the heart,

Visualizing the whole water core system through your whole body.

Becoming aware of the fluidity and flow found in yourself naturally in every moment.

That's great.

And as we're going to start flowing like water,

Being like water,

Let's just take a moment to acknowledge the power of water,

How essential it is to life.

You couldn't live without water,

Things wouldn't grow without water.

And also how adaptable,

How malleable it is,

How it changes shape,

It freezes,

It turns into steam.

Also acknowledging the power of water,

Acknowledging how,

Of course,

If anyone's seen images of a hurricane,

Big tidal wave,

You'll see the immense power the water holds.

How it can wear through rock over time,

Just with simply flowing.

How it's adaptable to move into any shape available to it.

Okay.

So taking a moment to make sure you're fully relaxed,

Relaxing your scalp,

Relaxing your face,

Relieving any tension in your jaw,

In your temple,

Around your eyes.

Becoming so at ease,

Releasing tension in the shoulders,

For the arms,

Find a stillness in your fingertips,

And letting an ease into the torso,

The belly,

Relaxing your hip joints,

Letting all your muscles of your back relax.

It's time for you,

It's time for rest.

Letting go of all of your muscles down your legs,

Down into your calf,

Resting,

Relaxing your ankles,

Your feet,

Stilling the toes.

Letting your physical body rest,

As we ease into the energetic body,

For this healing today.

If at any time you feel distracted,

Just come back to the breath,

Come back to what I'm saying.

Take a moment to feel excited for the journey we're about to go on,

It's going to be immense.

It's going to start the Reiki.

Hands on a Reiki arm.

If this is your first Reiki experience,

You may feel some sensations,

Some movement,

Or you may not.

It's perfectly fine.

Whatever your experience,

Please know that the healing is working,

Regardless of your experience of it.

A lot of people report a sense of immediate calm.

Okay,

So we're going to begin our journey.

So in your mind's eye,

Or if you can't visualize,

Use your other senses.

I want you to imagine yourself becoming a cloud,

Becoming light as a feather,

So delicate.

Floating up and off.

Floating above the earth.

Floating high up in the sky.

Enjoy that sense,

It feels a little cold as a cloud.

Enjoy the experience of being cloud-like,

What it means to be a cloud.

Such freedom.

Enjoy that sense of weightlessness.

Feeling gentle movement of the wind pushing against you,

Moving along.

Notice what it feels like,

What it smells and tastes like,

To become a cloud.

And as you're floating,

Go witness the earth beneath you.

And take in whatever you see,

An experience that's perfect for you at this time.

I see some seagulls passing you by.

And looking down.

Different landscapes you're floating over.

Floating over a vast blue ocean,

Which you have a sense of kin,

Of kindred with as a cloud.

Floating over beaches.

Passing over grassland,

Woodlands.

Passing over cities and towns.

Embodying the sense of flight.

With childlike wonder and curiosity.

Enjoying that sense of feeling so light,

So free.

Simply particles of water.

Changing and adapting.

Getting bigger and smaller with years.

And you're going to gently float over to mountains.

And see vast mountains beneath you.

Whatever you experience is perfect.

I'm seeing like vast,

Vast mountains,

Like the Rocky Mountains or the Alps.

Something big.

And you're lingering above that mountaintop scene.

Whilst you're above this mountaintop,

Visualize yourself becoming a raindrop of water within the cloud.

It's a gradual process.

But feel yourself as a cool drop of water.

A tiny speck that's gradually becoming larger,

Heavier.

Changing form out of vapor into liquid.

Getting denser and denser.

Ready to flow down towards earth.

Let's enjoy that change happening.

What does it feel like to feel like a raindrop for a moment?

Kind of feel like a dancing energy as a raindrop.

It's very,

Well,

Fluid.

I'm getting heavier and heavier and denser and denser.

Until it's time for you to start falling from the sky.

It's totally safe.

You're going,

Whee,

Down we go.

The raindrops flowing down.

This lovely,

Floaty,

Happy feeling as you fly down from the mountaintop.

And you'd splash onto the mountaintop.

And you're starting to flow into a mountain stream.

Feel yourself starting to move in a stream-like way.

Enjoying what you're seeing,

What you're experiencing.

Seeing the mountain around you,

The rocky outcrops,

And you're floating like a stream by it.

What does it feel like for you to float as a beautiful mountain stream?

It's buoyant.

It's cool.

It's kind of perfect.

I enjoy the sense of being in the stream,

Like really densely in it.

Underwater for a second.

Stones,

Pebbles beneath you.

Maybe seeing a little fish,

Salmon,

Or whatever arises is perfect at this time.

You're feeling the gravity pulling you down the river.

With the sense of gravitational pull.

You're feeling speed.

Maybe it's slow and steady and gradual at first.

Then it's increasing faster and faster.

Oh,

There's a lot of white.

The water's turning white as you're approaching steeper river rapids.

Ooh,

Enjoy that sense of flowing down this long river.

Maybe you're smashing back and forth against the rocks and the rapids.

That's really fun.

I really enjoy this flowing,

Like you're not really got any purpose,

But you're perfect just as you are with the flow of it.

You've got no goals as you're flowing as a river.

You're just flowing as universal energy.

Just flowing as pure source energy,

Which is what all of us are at any time.

You're really feeling it like this.

And notice as the water's flowing as you're flowing,

The flow is helping to keep you pure and fresh.

Filtered and clear.

That flow is so important.

Flow through whatever life comes,

Whatever is happening,

River rapids,

Or maybe it's a waterfall coming.

It's all good.

You're just flowing through whatever is coming up ahead.

It's going to be fine.

You're going to make it.

You're adaptable.

You're really taking a moment to embody that sense of power that you can flow through anything.

Anything that might be coming up and you're going to handle it with grace and ease.

You're just going to flow right through that puppy.

It's going to be great.

And as you're flowing as a river,

Notice how your movement is eroding the rocks in your path.

How the river sinks deeper and deeper into the valley.

The river,

In fact,

Carves out valleys.

It's that powerful.

You're that powerful.

Feel that strength and that power within yourself.

With your conscious thought,

With your intention,

With your directed energy,

You have the power to move mountains,

To carve deep grooves.

Take this as divine inspiration.

You can achieve anything.

It's going to be good.

Now you're getting towards the bottom of this giant mountain.

You've been flowing down and entering into plains,

Grasslands.

Notice how your speed reduces as you enter the flatter ground,

As you enter this space.

Smelling the grass,

The dirt,

The foliage of this space.

Feeling the change,

The softness underfoot or under flow.

Before you're flowing down rocks and mountains,

Now you're in a much more delicate,

Softer terrain.

As you're flowing as water in this space,

You're nourishing,

Supporting life.

Soaking into the roots of plants,

Of the grass.

And notice how you're always flowing down into the lowest possible space.

This universal energy always pulling you down,

Grounding you.

Maybe you notice some fauna or birds above.

Maybe you see a cloud above and you're like giving a wave to like your cousin,

Sort of a form of water above you.

You're nourishing life,

You're co-creating.

You're part of universal source energy.

You're just as powerful,

Just as important,

Just as capable as water.

And now as a river,

You're passing through this grassy space,

Heading towards trees,

You're flowing in through the woodlands,

The forest.

Looking up at looking up at trees,

Looking at those beautiful trees,

Noticing what kind of trees you're seeing,

Appreciating their shade.

Maybe you see a deer or a squirrel.

Maybe the deer is coming for a drink out of you.

And see how your presence benefits everything as you just flow through life without goals,

Just flowing.

You are benefiting all things,

All beings by your simple presence.

Seeing the trees roots drinking from you,

Just enjoying being the nourisher,

The benefactor of all life.

Just by your simple presence,

You are enough.

You don't have to do anything,

You are enough just by your presence,

Just by being here.

You are enough.

We're going to continue flowing.

Now we're flowing out towards the coast,

Towards the ocean.

You see the big blue coming up.

And you feel giddy and excited to be joining the big blue ocean.

And feel the river estuary joining the ocean.

Feel this becoming the ocean.

Feel how expansive that is.

You are becoming the ocean.

Feel that enormous expansion of consciousness.

Feel the fastness of you.

And notice how you are both a single drop in the ocean.

And also the entire ocean in a single drop.

We taste that saltiness,

That saline water smelling the ocean.

Looking downwards at all the life swimming around in you.

I see sea turtles,

Dolphins,

Sharks,

A barracuda,

Sea stars.

Notice how with simply your presence,

With just being,

You are benefiting all of the aquatic life.

Feel that deep,

Deep calm and steadiness in your depths.

You are limitless.

You are infinite.

You are massive.

Take such solace in this.

And lastly,

We're going to observe the blue sky above you and seeing the sun above you.

And feeling the sun's rays,

Seeing the sun's rays coming down on the surface of the ocean,

Down on you.

It feels warm.

It feels loving.

It feels light.

And as you're warming,

As you're wrapped in love and light,

You're feeling the heat and noticing that the surface of you is turning into a vapor.

The changing shape once more,

We're beginning to evaporate.

So gently,

Slowly,

Gracefully,

You are rising up above the ocean,

Seeing the ocean from below as you're moving up,

Up,

Up,

Up,

As steam,

As gas.

And eventually again,

You merge into clouds.

And just like that,

You've become the cloud once more.

Again,

You're super light and floaty.

I'll give you a couple of moments to enjoy this floaty sensation.

As a cloud,

You can float wherever you'd like.

Through this experience as water,

Noticing your own impermanence,

Your own chaos,

How change is always happening,

We're constantly evolving.

And one day we will no longer be here at all,

And we will float back to source,

To home.

And that's okay.

It's all a part of this experience.

I'm taking a moment to notice how this change,

How this experience has changed you through this journey.

And how this unique perspective offers so much ease.

And we realize that your mere existence,

Your mere presence,

Just flowing through life,

It benefits everyone around you.

I'm anchoring you in the remainder of this Reiki healing,

Anchoring you with a black tormaline into groundedness.

Have that anchor connecting you down,

Grounding you,

Supporting you.

Come what may.

But also with deep peace in every chakra of your entire chakra system.

Peace,

Peace,

Peace.

Breathing in peace.

Floating down from your vaporous self,

Down,

Down,

Down.

Coming back into the room you're in,

Returning back down into your physical body.

Coming back into the breath.

And again,

Enjoying that sensation of the breath as waves rolling over you.

Clearing and clarifying,

Opening and allowing everything that's need.

The Reiki healing is now complete.

I want you to take as much time as you need to gently return back into the physical.

Feel the ground underneath supporting you.

Feel the air upon your skin.

And when you move your fingers and toes,

Taking a deep stretch if you need.

Coming back into the physical body.

And before you return back to your device,

Before you start saying anything to me,

I want you to pick up your glass of water.

And I want you to spend a moment with it.

Take it in both hands.

And before you take a sip,

I want you to thank it.

Thank it for this opportunity.

Thank it for its support.

Thank it for its wisdom.

And I want you to take a really big drink.
