Find a comfortable position,

Sitting or lying down.

Close your eyes and begin to notice your breath.

Allowing yourself to sink deeper and deeper each time you exhale.

You are completely safe,

Relaxed and in control.

Imagine a warm golden light beginning to grow within your chest.

It expands with every breath.

It spreads across your entire body,

Releasing all of the tension and allowing them to sink down without any effort.

Washing away any discomfort that was there and opening your heart space.

The golden light is now encompassing your entire body,

Radiating from all parts of you.

You are completely relaxed and flooded with a warm,

Loving sensation.

Now in your mind's eye,

Imagine a staircase appearing before you.

This staircase will lead you to your safe haven and when you reach the bottom,

It will appear for you in whatever form that might be.

You approach the staircase and feel drawn to it with a sense of love and curiosity.

I will now count from 10 and when we reach 1,

You will arrive at the bottom and enter your safe haven.

10.

You are at the top stair.

You feel completely relaxed and safe.

9.

You descend further.

8.

You are halfway there.

7.

6.

You are halfway there.

5.

3.

You feel supported and encouraged by your spirit guides.

2.

You are nearly to the bottom.

1.

You have arrived at your safe haven.

No one can enter your safe haven without your invitation.

Here you are safe,

Unconditionally loved,

Held and protected.

Take a moment to notice what do your surroundings look like.

Your safe haven may be a place you've been to before,

Somewhere you've dreamed about going,

Or somewhere you've seen a picture of.

Or perhaps it's just a peaceful place you've created all on your own.

Each time you come to your safe place,

You may develop it and allow it to become more and more comfortable for you.

Allow yourself to see and feel what is here today with that in mind.

Maybe you're in a beautiful garden,

In the mountains,

In an open field,

Or the beach.

Perhaps you're in a childhood bedroom,

Or a place that feels nostalgic to you.

Wherever you are,

You feel a deep sense of safety and peace.

You feel a sense of home and belonging.

Notice the details of your surroundings.

Are you inside or outside?

Where are you in that place?

Move throughout and take notice of what you see around you.

What season is it?

Other plants,

Animals,

Objects,

Or other people?

What are they doing?

Listen closely to the sounds that are around you.

What do you hear?

Listen to the sounds that are far away and those that are near,

Those that are more noticeable,

And those that are more subtle.

Or perhaps there is just silence.

Whatever is happening,

It is there just for you and it is perfect as it is.

You feel so comfortable and whole.

There is nothing else you need right now.

Breathe deeply.

Inhale.

Exhale.

What does the air smell like here?

What sensations on your skin can you feel?

Perhaps you feel the earth beneath you?

Or whatever it is supporting you in that place?

Take note of the temperature.

Is it hot?

Is it cold?

Or is it just right?

What else can you touch?

Now take notice of how you are feeling.

You feel grounded and in connection with your highest self.

Check in with your heart space.

What does it feel like here?

Is it open and flowing?

Warm and safe?

Notice the other physical sensations in your body while you relax into this safe place.

What does this feel like in your body?

How is this different than what you usually feel?

Take a moment to look around and deeply settle into your safe space.

Imagine any last details to make it your own.

Breathe in the feeling of love and contentment into your heart.

Ask in its light and remember that this always exists within you.

The core of our soul is always at peace.

And remember that you can come back here at any time you wish,

At any time of day,

Anywhere in the world.

Your safe haven is always here,

Waiting for you when you need it,

Living on inside of you.

You you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you
