Welcome to this meditation.
I am your guide Saqib and I will guide you through Tonglen meditation,
Which is an ancient Tibetan practice used for healing oneself and others.
Let me briefly explain to you the technique before we start the meditation.
In this meditation,
We imagine and visualize someone we want to heal,
Be it yourself,
Your relatives or friends,
Or all sentient beings in general.
We then breathe in their negative or dark energy,
Which we visualize in the form of thick black smoke,
And breathe out pure white energy,
Which we visualize in the form of golden white light coming from our heart,
Which is the gateway to our soul and this pure white and healing energy.
Now you might be thinking that you can get affected by breathing in this dark energy,
But that is not true.
In actuality,
We have to understand that dark or negative energy doesn't exist,
And it only exists in the illusions of the person whom you want to heal.
This dark energy is something our mind creates,
Which leads to many of the illnesses and diseases.
So what you are breathing in has no effect on you.
Still,
We will be doing some energy clearing practice towards the end of the meditation to free ourselves from any perceived dark energy.
So let's start.
I would now request you to sit in a comfortable position with your back straight.
Now gradually close your eyes.
Feel the presence of your surroundings,
The presence of your room,
The air in your room.
The smell in the air,
The air on your skin,
The weight of your body on the chair,
Mattress or floor,
And listen to the sounds around you.
Let's set our sankalpa for healing.
I will say the words of sankalpa,
And either you can repeat after me in your heart,
Or just listen to my words.
It's up to you.
I decide to heal that being by removing their dark energy and filling them with healing light.
I decide to heal that being by removing their dark energy and filling them with healing light.
I decide to heal that being by removing their dark energy and filling them with healing light.
Now imagine and visualize the person or people or sentient beings that you want to heal,
And visualize that they are sitting right in front of you.
It might be a loved one,
A pet,
Or it might be a group of people or all sentient beings.
It might also be yourself,
In which case visualize your own image sitting in front of you.
Let's start with the practice now.
On my cue,
Inhale thick black smoke coming from the person in front of you,
Entering through your nose and reaching the center of your chest,
Where it dissolves into the source of white light,
And then exhale the golden white healing light which starts from your heart,
Goes out of your mouth,
And fills that person's body completely.
Let's start then.
Inhale the black smoke through the nose,
And exhale golden white healing light.
Exhale the golden white healing light.
Exhale the golden white healing light.
Exhale the golden white healing light.
Exhale the golden white healing light.
Exhale the golden white healing light.
Exhale the golden white healing light.
Exhale the golden white healing light.
Exhale the golden white healing light.
Now imagine beams of this golden white healing light coming from the sky and filling your body.
This is called a light path and it will clear any perceived dark energy that you might be holding in your body.
Imagine this light filling your head and face,
Your neck,
Your chest and the heart within.
Your arms and hands,
Your stomach,
Your pelvis,
Your legs.
And finally,
Your feet.
Bring back your awareness to your surroundings now.
The presence of your room,
The air in your room,
The smell in the air,
The air on your skin,
The weight of your body on the chair,
Mattress or floor.
And listen to the sounds around you.
And now wiggle your toes and move your fingers and gradually open your eyes.
You have now removed dark energy from that person and filled them with healing energy and at the same time you yourself are devoid of any dark energy and are filled with this pure white healing energy.
