Welcome to the meditation for Module 4,

The Power of Solitude.

This meditation is a self-enquiry.

You can also do this self-enquiry in your solitude.

And it's a pretty simple practice.

But this simple practice has profound effects on our being.

In this practice,

We will meditate on the question,

Who am I?

I will prompt you three times to ask this question to yourself in today's practice.

And each time I prompt you,

It will be followed by a silence in which you will reflect on this question.

So let's get started.

You can get into your comfortable posture.

And if you can make sure that your back is straight but relaxed,

That will be wonderful.

And if you feel like it,

You can also close your eyes.

Let's start with relaxing our body.

So first,

Bringing your awareness to your head and relax your head,

Face muscles,

Neck,

Shoulders,

Arms,

Hands,

Chest,

Belly,

Upper back,

Lower back.

Pelvis,

Hips,

Thighs,

Knees,

Calves.

And relax your feet.

And now bring your awareness to your breath.

And allow yourself to just observe the inflow and the outflow of your breath for a while.

And now the first prompt.

Who am I?

I will be silent for a while as you reflect on this question.

And now the second prompt.

Who am I?

And now the third and the final prompt.

Who am I?

And now you can gradually come out of the practice.

If you feel like it,

You can share any insights that came up for you.

Take care and have a wonderful day ahead.

'Who am I?'... This question is profoundly challenging, yet deeply meaningful to ask oneself. In the midst of this inquiry, the answer often feels elusive, as if it cannot be fully grasped. I wonder—does a definitive answer even exist? During my practice, I noticed a certain discomfort in asking “Who am I?” so directly. When I let go of the “I” in my second inquiry, the exploration became lighter, more open to feeling and contemplation. Though my search continues, I have come to perceive my essence as a tiny spark of light-energy residing within this vessel called the body. This light moves gently from darkness toward the light, led by the soul on a sacred journey to discover my higher self. The experience has been profound beyond words. Yet, is this the true answer to “Who am I?” Maybe only time and grace will reveal that truth. Who knows?✨ Thank you, Saqib for this deeply moving and transformative meditation. ✨🕊️⚡🤍🙏✨

I have been asking myself this question for the best part of 60 years, and still don't know my 'raison d'etre'. Thank you for prompting me to try again. Maybe we will never know until we gain the next world. Thank you for your wonderful work and wishing you many blessings.🙏♥️

Wonderful reflection. I am not those thoughts and emotions that pass in time, but a presence that sees through all that passes. I can at once embrace my “humanness” while not getting so caught up in it. That light of awareness (love) in this moment is all there is.
