I welcome you to this meditation which will help relieve stress from your mind and your body.
I am your guide Saqib and I will guide you through some techniques which not only help relieve stress instantly,
They make your mind and body remain unaffected by the stress causing factors in the longer run.
If these techniques are practiced regularly.
Before I begin the meditation,
I would like to brief you a bit on one of these methods which many of us do at times,
But it is specifically benefiting for relieving stress.
I am talking about gratitude here.
Gratitude is a proven stress relieving practice because it transforms how you think.
Stress is majorly caused by destructive thoughts.
Many times we might feel that we are not thinking negatively,
But our subconscious mind is good at hiding the destructive thoughts that you are not able to perceive in your conscious mind.
A regular gratitude practice transforms our mind into focusing only on those things that serve us well.
It then releases all tension and stress from our mind and body.
So let's thank the universe for everything that is there in our life right now,
Even the challenges,
Because challenges make us learn and grow.
I would now request you to sit in a comfortable position.
Now gradually close your eyes.
I will be saying a gratitude prayer to the universe.
You can either repeat it in your heart or just listen silently.
You can even add your own words of gratitude to it.
I thank you universe for this experience of life,
For this habitable planet,
For this humanity,
The flora and the fauna,
The beautiful mountains,
Rivers and beaches.
I thank you universe for the air I breathe,
The food I eat,
For the people who are a part of my life,
My loved ones.
I thank you universe for the ever growing infinite knowledge,
For the capability to transform myself,
For my curiosity to know things,
And for everything in my life that is making me grow,
Even the challenges.
I thank you universe for giving me the opportunity to transform myself through this meditation.
Bring your awareness to your surroundings,
The room which you are in,
The weight of your body on the floor,
Chair,
Couch or bed,
The smell in the air,
The air on your skin,
And listen to the sounds around you.
Now bring your awareness to your breathing.
Inhale deeply through your nose and exhale deeply through your mouth.
Feel the air passing through your nostrils and going out through your lips.
Take three more deep breaths.
Bring your awareness to the thoughts arising in your mind right now.
If you find no thoughts,
You can wait for a thought to arise.
But just notice that where did the thought come from?
What is its source?
These thoughts are something separate from your awareness.
Imagine these thoughts as bubbles rising in front of you,
With each thought representing one bubble.
In your imagination,
One by one burst or pop these bubbles of thoughts with a slight touch of your finger,
Removing one thought at a time,
Just in your imagination.
This awareness of yours that was watching these thoughts is the center of your consciousness.
It remains still and calm while everything else moves around.
Experience the stillness of your awareness,
Consciousness or soul,
Whatever you choose to call it.
Just feel that stillness for some time.
Now imagine a ball of glowing white light placed at the top of your head.
Light is the source of existence and it has tremendous healing powers.
As this ball will move down your body,
It will erase all the remaining tensions in your body and relax your body deeply.
Now gradually move this ball down from your head towards your shoulders.
You can increase or decrease the size of this ball,
Depending upon the size of the part of your body through which this ball passes.
Feel this light melting away the tension and providing deep relaxation.
Now move this ball from your shoulders towards your navel,
Including your arms.
Now back from your navel towards your feet.
Now back from your feet towards your navel.
From your navel towards your head.
Now let this ball stay at your head for a while and provide a deep relaxation.
It is calming down your mind.
Bring your attention back to your breathing now.
Start sensing your surroundings,
Your room,
The weight of your body,
The air on your skin and the sounds around you.
Wiggle your toes,
Move your hands and gradually open your eyes.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing this meditation.
Through your reviews,
I would love to know that how was your experience.
I hope you found value in this meditation.
Lots of love and have a peaceful day.
