Discover how to transform fear into a guide rather than an enemy. In this meditation, you’ll use the practice of active imagination to give your fear a voice, image, or character, so you can meet it directly instead of avoiding it. By interacting with fear in this safe inner space, you begin to understand its message and dissolve its power. A gentle journey to courage, clarity, and freedom. If you like this practice, then check out Saqib's course, "Intuition Training Through Active Imagination."

We are now starting with the meditation.

You can allow your eyes to gradually close and as you close your eyes,

Gradually bringing your awareness to your body,

First bringing your awareness to your head,

Relaxing your head,

Your face muscles,

Jaw,

Neck,

Shoulders,

Relaxing your arms,

Your hands,

Becoming aware of your chest,

Relaxing your heart,

Belly,

Upper back,

Lower back,

Becoming aware of your pelvis,

Relaxing your genitals,

Hips,

Thighs,

Knees,

Calves,

And relaxing your feet.

Now,

Gradually noticing any fear in the body.

Notice where do you feel fear in your body.

Where do you feel any tension,

Any stress in the body?

Simply becoming aware of that part of the body and if it is not too noticeable,

You can simply place your awareness at your heart center and now becoming aware of your breath and as you breathe in,

Visualize that you are breathing in white light and as you breathe out,

Visualize that you are breathing out black smoke.

Breathing in white light,

Breathing out black smoke and through this black smoke,

Release the fear.

All fear is being released from your body through your out-breath.

Feel your body relaxing with every breath.

Feel the tension releasing.

Breathing in light,

Breathing out black smoke and now this black smoke is gradually transforming into an entity.

This entity represents your fear that you will release today and now this black smoke has fully transformed into this entity.

This entity is now sitting right in front of you.

This entity represents your fear.

It is the personification of your fear.

Notice how this entity looks like.

Notice the form of this entity.

Notice the features,

Facial expressions,

Body language and this entity is wearing clothes.

Notice the color of the clothes.

Let's take a moment here to observe this entity.

Notice how this entity is behaving.

Notice how is it expressing that fear and now it's time to have an interaction with this entity.

You can ask questions to this entity.

Who are you?

What do you represent?

What are you trying to teach me?

Or any other question that arises in this interaction.

You can also have just a normal conversation or maybe you can have a non-verbal interaction.

Just maybe walking together or doing some activity together.

I will be silent for a while as you allow yourself to interact with this entity that represents your fear.

And taking a few moments here to express anything you would want to express to this entity or maybe giving a warm loving embrace or maybe just letting go of this entity.

And now gradually allowing the vision to disappear and bringing your awareness back to your body.

As you release this fear,

A void is created inside you and you will fill this void with light.

So visualize that there is a beam of light coming from above like a shower of light moving down your head,

Filling your head with light,

Your face,

Neck,

Moving down your shoulders,

Arms and hands,

Moving down your chest,

Belly,

Back.

Feel this light moving down your pelvis,

Your legs and into your feet,

Filling you with light.

As you gradually allow yourself now to start coming out of the practice,

You can move your hands,

Your feet,

Notice your breath and then gradually in your own time allowing the eyes to open as we bring this meditation to its completion.

Saqib has a way of helping use active imagination in new healing ways, and I have been carrying more fear than I cared to admit. This was gentle and revealing. I listened twice before, but my third experience was most profound and lasted 5 minutes beyond the guided experience. I highly recommend this practice to get in touch with fear at a sub conscious level, even if it takes a few tries to settle into the active imagination practice. Namaste 🙏and thank you Saqib.

I loved the imagery of the white light entering and the exhale of darkness…such an important exercise of staying grounded, hopeful and joyous. Otherwise the constant happenings in this world can definitely bog us down. 🙏🏻

Letting the grip of fear loosen and dissipate is so freeing. I will come back to this to remind me. 🙏🌞

This practice unlocked a deep surge of emotion, rising powerfully before the journey of active imagination began. Breathing out the dark, heavy smoke with tears and drawing in the healing white smoke, I could feel fear release with every breath. My entity did not show herself, but as I sobbed in the darkness, I found comfort, surrounded by the owl, the tiger, and my lion archetype—all symbols of strength and protection. It felt as though my fearful entity retreated into the shadows, and my tears became her voice. Saqib, this was an immensely potent experience—exhausting, yet deeply liberating. Thank you for shaping such a transformative, sacred space. With love and light🙏🤍⚡️🦁🌻❣️
