I was sitting on my favourite couch in my house and enjoying an episode of my favourite show,
Star Trek Discovery,
On a Sunday afternoon when suddenly my internal voice that speaks to me at random occasions told me to get up from the couch,
Go to the recording room and record a talk which will be titled,
Our Self-Driving System,
The Soul.
Hi,
My name is Saqib and I welcome you all to this talk which comes directly from my soul.
It is not this person who is labelled as Saqib who is speaking to you,
But it is his soul who is speaking to you which is a part of a larger collective consciousness and has taken a physical form to express its divinity.
I don't know why it is so eager to share this message to you,
But I guess it believes that this is its purpose for this particular lifetime,
In this particular dimension and on this particular planet that we call Earth.
I would like to share a personal story with you as this topic is something really very close to my heart.
I grew up in a country where as per the society,
If you end up becoming an engineer,
A doctor,
A lawyer or something of that kind,
Then you are considered to be successful,
Else you are an outcast.
As an obedient son of an Indian family,
I decided to become an engineer.
It was just before the beginning of the first semester at my university that I started hearing a voice inside me.
This voice was telling me to give up my engineering and instead contemplate and research for one year that what I really wanted to do.
What?
Are you mad?
I told this voice.
How will I earn money and start supporting my family if I don't become an engineer?
I discounted that voice completely,
Labeling it as madness and commenced my studies at the university.
The following six years of my life,
Which include four years of university and two years of work as an engineer,
Had been,
To say the least,
Depressing in terms of my personal growth.
I proved to be a pathetic engineer.
I felt absolutely lost.
This was devastating for me because I knew I was an ambitious person who wanted to change the world.
And this failure as an engineer had shattered my self-confidence.
Still discounting that constant voice inside me,
I decided to go for an MBA as I thought management might be something that would be of my interest.
So I enrolled myself in an MBA program for the next two years,
Followed by a couple of years of work as a marketing manager in a smartphone company.
Well,
You might have guessed it by now that even after all this,
There was this deep dissatisfaction within me.
And I was still standing at the crossroads of my life,
With no idea of where to go and what to do.
Was it time to start listening to this voice inside me,
Which I had been discounting for the past 10 years now?
We make so many plans in life.
We think too much.
We do a rational analysis of things.
And yet how often do we feel satisfied with our rational decisions?
At times in our life,
When we are faced with making crucial decisions,
We rationally plan and think that a particular relationship or a business deal or a job will be highly beneficial for us.
But most of the times,
Many of us end up experiencing heartbreak,
Stress,
Anxiety,
Depression,
Etc.
Due to the decisions we made.
That particular relationship or a business deal or a job didn't turn out the way we thought.
The reason behind this is that at the time of making that decision,
Our knowledge about that particular person,
Client or company was limited.
We made that decision from a point where we yet had not experienced that particular relationship or work.
Basically,
It was a point of less knowledge and no experience.
How likely then it is that from such a point,
The decision would turn out to be right?
Well,
I would say very unlikely.
Now,
Some people say that it's better to learn from others' knowledge and experience.
That might be true to a certain extent,
But still there are flaws to this strategy.
What is good for someone else might not necessarily be good for you.
That's because the person and you are two complete different souls.
You are unique.
A particular job or person might turn out to be good for someone,
But it is not necessary at all that it will also turn out to be good for you.
Because the experience of your soul is absolutely different from experiences of other souls on this planet.
You have your own purpose,
Your own ideas,
Your own creativity and your own music to play in this existence.
The day I started listening to that voice inside me,
It has guided me through a journey of transformation,
Love,
Spirituality,
Peace,
Fulfilment and happiness.
I can't thank it enough for being my guide and taking all the decisions for me.
I no more need to stress my rational mind to make decisions to no avail.
Instead,
I let my soul drive me.
It has become my self-driving system.
No more I stress my mind to make decisions for me.
I let my soul do the task.
And it turns out that the soul is really amazing at this job.
It actually knows what to do.
It actually knows its purpose and accordingly it drives my body to perform tasks.
I have started doing things automatically.
Earlier I used to schedule my task and procrastinate until the last moment to work upon them.
But now my soul pushes my body automatically in finishing off the task in a productive manner.
I am just loving this self-driving feature.
Do you also use this self-driving feature?
Are you able to communicate with your soul?
Do you know what is the purpose of your soul that has to be fulfilled in this lifetime?
Trust me,
Life will be so much easier if we just give up our thoughts and let our soul drive instead.
No stress about making decisions.
No suffering after making choices that do not serve the purpose of our soul.
No confusion and no extra effort in doing tasks that you are not meant to do.
Once you let your soul drive,
The effect is magical.
It is a pure state of being,
A state of bliss,
A state of passion,
A state of purpose,
And a state in which your unique music,
Your creativity and your ideas are benefited by the entire universe.
Many of the great artists,
Scientists and leaders of the world have used this self-driving system.
Be it Leonardo da Vinci,
Nikola Tesla or Steve Jobs.
Although many different names have been given to this system,
Like intuition or divine inspiration,
It is one and the same thing.
It is the soul.
So I guess it's high time that humanity should let the soul take control of the mind and the body.
After all,
It was none other than Albert Einstein who said that the intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant.
We have created a society that honours the servant and has forgotten the gift.
I thank you from my soul for listening to this talk.
I hope you found value in it.
And I also hope that your soul brings its unique magic out into this world to make it a better place.
Do let me know your thoughts on this topic through your reviews.
My soul loves yours.
Take care and have a wonderful day.
